Le Chasseur is hidden in the industrial estate of paya lebar. It is not easy to access the place without a car. Even with cars, it is not easy to find parking. Happen to get to know that there is a new food place just located at my house there. French or chinese? thats what I thought in the first place!Read some review on this place so we went to give a try! We ordered a Claypot Rice (small $11), BBQ Live Prawns ($9.60), Fried Chicken Wings ($6.40), Butter Oatmeal Beancurd ($6.40) and a pot of Chrysanthemum Tea ($4). After moving to Eunos, Le Chasseur is no longer air-conditioned but the coffeeshop is airy and cool and they have much more seating space.This was the 2nd time I was eating here after they moved over and the claypot rice was a little disappointing as it was slightly wet and not as fragrant. But towards the bottom of the pot, it was better.As usual, the crispy pork knuckle did not fail to wow. It is rather pricey at $30 though. The sambal brinjal was pretty nice too.
