The storefront is quite striking, located right beside Tiong Bahru bakery so its' a great time to do some cafe hopping. While its' not very crowded on a Saturday afternoon, it is best that you avoid peak hours from 12-2pm.Here are the opening hours written on the window.I love the cozy interior design, it does not really follow any particular theme but it made me felt so homely, a great place to hang out with friends! The service crew was excellent, extremely friendly and cheerful.I love how the
My friends and I were most fascinated by their lovely Latte art... we had a competition whereby we try to drink the coffee without destroying the Latte art, of course we failed, but it was a fun experience though! Caramel Macchiato (Regular: $5.50)
I prefer the Caramel Macchiato out of the other three cups, because honestly, it was much more sweeter. The other two were understandably too bitter, and while I don't think they use a fair grade of premium coffee, it is actually quite a nice place to relax and chill out (chillax). Flat White (Regular: $4.50)
The cup of coffee got cold quite quickly, and I believe it was because they didn't warm up the cups, unlike how The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf would purposefully place the cups on top of the espresso machines so that the cups will be kept warm, thus the coffee will not turn cold too quickly. Trying to tastefully take a nice shot, *giggles* All in all, I think it is the ambience that people come to the Orange Thimble for, because the coffee and the cake weren't all that special. I didn't try the mains though, may go back there again in future
