Canton Paradise serves hong kong dishes and all day dim sum. The interior was classy and oriental. It is definitely a good place for catch up with friends after a long day at work or a place to indulge in sumptuous food after a tiring day. I went there with my parents to have our dinner. I ordered the recommended noodles dish - Jumbo Prawn Wanton Noodles. As the name suggests, the prawn dumplings were quite big and the prawns were succulent and juicy. YUMZ.. I went there with my parents to have our dinner. I ordered the recommended noodles dish - Jumbo Prawn Wanton Noodles. As the name suggests, the prawn dumplings were quite big and the prawns were succulent and juicy. YUMZ.. The soup and noodles were not too oily and were light and flavoursome. It fitted my palate well.
Other than the wanton noodles, we ordered some dim sum too. They include carrot cake, osmanthus chestnut cake and deep fried prawn and mango - I kinda forgotten the name >< -.
The carrot cake and osmanthus chestnut were very tasty. Not a disappointment at all. However, the deep fried prawn and mango was a total disaster. I'm not a fan of mayonnaise at all when I bit it the mayonnaise came gushing into my mouth. The taste mayonnaise was very strong and sort of destroyed my mood for good food. Thinking of it upsets my appetite, I really dislike mayonnaise But for mayonnaise fans, do give it a try. The dish actually tasted quite good.
