My roomate and I didnt want to cook dinner after work anymore, so we decided to meet up in Bishan and eat there. Since we've tried most of the restaurants at Junction 8, we opted for Watami, the Japanese restaurant which is a bit secluded from the rest of the stores. Anyway, there were still quite a few people when we got there, but it turned our most of the tables were reserved. Good thing there was one that was still available. So upon settling to our seats, we ordered. I had their signature Watami Ramen while my friend had the Bibimbap.
Food service was quite fast, I was able to get my order in less than 15 minutes. As for the taste, I like the fact that their soup wasn't too salty. In fact the sauce had a hint of creaminess to it. Pork was very soft and crumbles in your mouth with every bite. They were also generous with their ramen and other ingredients. =D
The only negative thing I would have to say about the restaurant was that airconditioning was a bit poor. It was very warm inside. Also, expect to smell like the food after you dine here due to its poor ventilation. But if you dont have an important to do afterwards, go ahead and dine here!
