Lunchtime at Ikea cafe at tampines is quite crowded, might be difficult to find seats for bigger groups. Queued for about 20mins from start till payment at the counter. But the best thing is that you don't have to worry about parking charges as parking at Ikea is free! We had 2 pc chicken wings ($2.60), Pasta with Meatballs ($5.90), Soup of the day ($3.20), Bun ($0.3) and a drink which is refillable ($1). We had 2 pc chicken wings ($2.60), Pasta with Meatballs ($5.90), Soup of the day ($3.20), Bun ($0.3) and a drink which is refillable ($1). Chicken wings were great but it’s either 2 pcs or 10pcs at $7++. soup of the day is self service near the counter, so you can actually to fill it to the brim provided that you don't spill it when you're carrying the food. But $3 for soup of the day is really worth it. Cream of mushroom that day and there's mushrooms for each spoonful!! The pasta with meatballs was a tad disappointing as the meatballs did not taste very nice as I thought it would be, it was less springy and abit dry for my liking.
Overall the food prices at ikea is quite reasonable other than the fact there’s super huge crowd due to free parking and nice+affordable food. Remember to clear your own tray afterwards though!
