My friend was late and I was tired standing under the hot weather in Bugis Junction. Hence, I went to Starbucks to get a iced blend drink. I did not want to order coffee, hence I ordered the Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino Blended Juice, venti size. The cost was about $7.50.The wait for my ordered drink was quite fast and the friendly staff called my name when my order was ready. I did not want to order coffee, hence I ordered the Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino Blended Juice, venti size. The cost was about $7.50.The wait for my ordered drink was quite fast and the friendly staff called my name when my order was ready. The decor inside the Starbucks was cosy and comfortable, the air temperature was also cooling, good for resting my tired legs.
The taste of the Mango Passion Fruit Frappuccino Blended Juice was disappointing. It was also very sweet. There was no real mango or passion fruit in the drink. The taste was more of concentrated mango syrup with blended ice. I could not taste any passion fruit flavour, maybe the staff had forgotten to add the syrup in. Nevertheless, the drink was thirst quenching in this hot weather.
Overall, I felt that having paid $7.50 for a juice drink, I should be getting a real fruit blend instead of syrup water.
