This used to be an old time favorite that i have not eaten for a while now. The price has been raised from $2.00 to $2.50 with a slightly bigger portion. I went to take away and have it at home. It still left with a lingeringly warm when i gotten home. .When it was still selling at $2.00 quite a long while ago, the nice Auntie always volunteered to separate the gravy from the bee hoon when taking away. But later, they put up a signage informing its customers that they have stopped doing so.This

This stall is manned by a chinese couple and their mee siam is towards the sweeter version, quite different from what you will get from an indian or a malay stall serving this dish. It reminded me of a particular stall selling this dish in the school canteen many many years ago.

Simple food but nice. A good way to reminisce the taste of old times.
