I went to carousel with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. Apparently the spread seems different from the last time we went. This time the food was really good, there was this herbal prawn, the prawn was cooked in a herbal broth. The prawn was very sweet and succulent, it absorbed all the tasty herbal soup. But the herbal broth is too salty to drink it on its own. There was also fried oyster, was surprised to see the chef frying it. The oysters were very fresh and juicy, there was not too much starch added. The chilli was not the usual kind, it seemed thicker. The lobsters from the seafood section was delicious. it was so fresh, some even had roe. The meat was sweet and succulent. It went so well with the lemon and tobasco sauce. The mussels were very fat and juicy too. the scallop is a must try, the meat is so fresh and sweet.
