This was during May last year. Zhou's Kitchen at Anchorpoint offers high tea buffet from 3pm to 5:30pm in addition to its normal ala carte dishes. We had the ala carte orders since we were there at lunch time.

The restaurant itself is very special, it is something like a little house (as you can see from the picture of the restaurant) as opposed to being in a restaurant. It has two levels, and we were ushered to the second level.

We ordered a few dishes to share instead of getting the set menu for 5-6. The first dish was the roast duck which was tender and the skin was crispy. It went very well with the accompanying sauce which was very appetitising.

The tofu dish was ok, they could have been more generous with the spices to give it more kick.

All of us enjoyed the coffee pork ribs. The pork wasn't too fatty and the coffee flavour blends in very well - it wasn't overly sweet or bitter which was a thumbs up. The herbal chicken was yummy as well, you can see the herbs in the picture. This goes very well with white rice.

We also ordered desserts at the end which are not very value for money in my opinion. It is better to stick to ordering the mains and go elsewhere for desserts.

Service was prompt and the manager took the effort to ask us how we found the food.
