The blue nonya kueh consists of two layers. One layer was the glutinous rice that has a light blue colour and it was topped with a generous layer of the grated coconut that has been cooked in coconut sugar. The colour glutinous rice taste slightly saltish but the sweetness of the grated coconut create a good balance between the two distinct flavours. As for the yellow kueh,it also have nine layers on it. Just the different in colours compared with the nine layers kueh. And similar in taste with
