Codfish is my favourite fish, it has never failed me. I especially like the texture, it can stand for long cooking, it won’t be tough or disappear. This stall was featured at TV programme, I would think it could be good for some standard. We reached there 5+pm as we worried there was crowded. It was quite quiet though. We reached there 5+pm as we worried there was crowded. It was quite quiet though. We have ordered their recommended dishes of sweet and sour chicken and codfish claypot. They used the first joint of chicken wing, and prepared it in an easy way to eat as you can see from my photo. The dark green fried leaf was a type of vegetable, if it was seaweed, it would enhance the overall flavour. The sweet and sour taste wasn’t outstanding though.

We have so much expectation on the codfish claypot, the soup was rich, it was milky colour and I didn’t think it was from milk, it should be after a long boil of fish/chicken/pork bones, I suppose. There were so much ingredients in it but hardly could find CODFISH! Just not so many bits, they were deep fried before putting into the soup, it has codfish bones as well. I couldn’t even say they were in pieces. Instead there were plentiful of deep fried yam, if someone like yam very much, it could be their dish. For $28 at a kapitam, the size of the claypot wasn’t big, it was overpriced. The sweet and sour chicken for 6 was $10, it was acceptable.
