Canton Paradise Teahouse has a stellar location in B1 next to the escalators from Star Vista's street level main entrance; it is also the first restaurant for drivers using the esalator from the carrk into the mall. It is easily the most popular restaurant in Star Vista. The restaurant h as a small non aircon section that rather noisy so opt for a table inside where there is aircon. Service was good on weekday visit but crappy on my weekend visit as the staff were frazzled by the big crowds of families. Foodwise, standards are above average. One can't go wrong by ordering Hong Kong style roast duck, roast pork and BBQ pork (chasiew) here. The roast duck noodles was excellent. However the congee was a disappointment as the chef used cornstarch to thicken its consistency and looking for the ingredients in the congee was almost like a tr easure hunt. We ordered one of the a la carte dishes - steamed garoupa fillet with black fungus which was well done but a tad salty. The Hong Kong style milky coffee was good but the milky tea was too diluted.
