We were looking for a place to eat after our movie at Plaza Singapura and I was suddenly attacked by ramen crave. My partner suggested we go for Ajisen to satisfy my cravings. To make the best value....we decided to go for the set which includes a drink, a side dish and ramen.The fried chicken was too oily. The fried chicken was too oily. I think they cooked it in lots of oil but didn't strain it properly. The meat, however, was tender and that basically made up for the tons of oil.
This dish wasn't too fantastic. It was oily on the outside and the tentacles were abit too dry. Had a hard time chewing before I could swallow.
My favorite would be the volcano ramen. Although it was suppose to be a 3 chili ramen, it wasn't too spicy. I normally go for the spicy cha shu ramen (2 chili) so this time round, I decided to go for adventure. The volcano is only slightly spicier than the spicy cha shu....faint hearted can easily consume.
My partner had the cha shu ramen. The broth tasted good and the cha shu was soft enough to melt in your mouth.
