I had vividly remember that there was a famous rojak in Whampoa Hawker Centre as from the last round of visit about a decade ago. I had vividly remember that there was a famous rojak in Whampoa Hawker Centre as from the last round of visit about a decade ago. I went through every rows in the Hawker Centre to look for the famous rojak stall, lo and behold, it was still there and as expected long queues were seen. I had waited almost 20 minutes for my smallest portion of Rojak ordered.

Ingredients were fresh with crunchy fried fritters (You Tiao), turnip, cucumber, pineapple, beansprouts and a generous amount of peanuts. What overwhelms me is its luscious aplenty of peanut gravy with prawn paste and the small portions jellyfish was found in the Rojak. Sugar crystals were dissolved through the thorough mixing skills by the man. Greens are also added which stands up in the brown and "peanuty" dish.

Fresh buds can be seen on a container placed in front of the stall and the stalls owners are quite opened about the brands of century eggs they were using too.

Since the dish was served in a disposable plate, do remember to put some weight over the empty plates to avoid the strong wind generated from the Hawker Centre's Fans blowing them away & hit on others.

Cost: S$3.00
