Samsui Chicken

We went for lunch at Soup Restaurant as we missed their signature chicken dish. Soup Restaurant is one of our favorite chinese restaurants and we will visit it at least 4 times a year just to savour their chicken. We went on a weekday so the service was especially attentive since there is not much of a crowd in the restaurant. Soup Restaurant is one of our favorite chinese restaurants and we will visit it at least 4 times a year just to savour their chicken. We went on a weekday so the service was especially attentive since there is not much of a crowd in the restaurant. We ordered their signature samsui chicken, the large portion which costs $30.90 and a serving of vegetables. The chicken is certainly the star of the meal for me. The chicken meat is always very tender and the sauce of ginger in the middle of the dish is what makes the chicken especially tasty. The chicken skin is also tasty as it is not too fatty and everything when eaten as a whole is just divine. The large portion is large enough for 5 people but for die-heart fans of the chicken like me, I would think I will be able to easily polish the plate off with just another 1 or 2 person!
