Chance upon SOD cafe website the other day and was fascinated by their selection. Best is they even do delivery! lolz...I decided to check out the Toa Payoh outlet since I will be around the area that week. I'm someone who can't stand super sweet drinks. I would normally opt for 50% sugar level for all bubble tea but this is "simply too sweet" for a 50%. Sweet to the extend where i feel numbness on my scalp. Not only tea is sweet, even the pearls are super duper sweet! Gosh... is sugar on sale?
I had my usual green milk tea which doesn't taste as fantastic as other brands i've had b4. Well, probably it's the sweetness which is affecting my taste bud. Shall try other selections with lesser sugar level and without pearls next time.
