This is the time of year again – of celebrations, good tidings, feasts, and log cakes! The velvety smooth fusion of cream cheese and fine coffee blended harmoniously together, creating a light yet flavourful touch. The moist texture of the vanilla chiffon cake melted on my taste buds, leaving a bitter-sweet aftertaste that left me wanting for more.
The only flaw to an otherwise impeccable cake was the amount of cream which I found was too much for my palate to handle.
Overall, savoring the cake was a splendid delight, indeed a sweet prelude to the yuletide season!
