Chicken Afritada? What is it? Since it is on the menu board today, I decide to try it out. Chicken Afritada is a Filipino version of Chicken stew. It is a dish with an interesting blend of ingredients - from soy sauce and ginger, to tomato sauce and sweet peas, best served over hot rice. The chicken cubes are well stewed and very tender and flavourful. I have the dish served with tomato based pasta, instead of rice.
