As you walk into Chomp Chomp Food Centre, the first stall on the far right is always busy and that is where you can find what I feel is one of the best Carrot Cake stalls in Singapore. I really like the manner in which the dish is prepared - it is cooked just right and the ingredients add great flavour to it. The prawns are individually fried and added. Instead, it is spread out on the plate or wrapper. That really makes a difference to the taste.
Another plus point to this stall is the Assistant, who is really a Wonder woman.
She takes orders and also takes note of all requests, collects money, serves customers at the centre and packs the take aways as well. On a busy evening she can be seen multi tasking with ease and I feel she is a great asset to the stall.
I like the carrot cake here so much that I will not settle for any other stall when this one is closed!
