Complimentary from my business partner, which I am glad to taste it as this is my first time trying the mooncakes from this famous confectionary shop at Bukit Merah. The packaging looks very simple and traditional, which I suppose the traditional feel always make the food taste more unique and good. Before I taste it, I was able to smell the buttery smell of the crunchy golden brown pastries. Inside is filled with not too sweet and smooth white lotus paste, which blend in well with the fresh salted egg yolks in it. The generous amount of fresh crunchy walnuts topped on it added that extra crunch to this yummy pastries too.
