There was some Japanese Food Kiosk inside the Isetan Supermarket. One of them was J Dining, which sells deep fried Japanese Food. There was one item which caught my eyes, that was Waygu beef Croquette and it just cost $2.80! Hence, I bought one to try.The Waygu Beef Croquette had a very crispy breaded outer layer. The Waygu Beef Croquette had a very crispy breaded outer layer. The crispy and fluffy texture of the breaded layer was similar to Tonkichi Restaurant. Inside the croquette was quite disappointing, there was much more potato then minced beef. However, the croquette tasted good. The potato was smooth and not powdery. There was some flavour of beef meat, but I was not sure was it waygu beef, as it tasted like just normal beef meat.
Overall, the Waygu Beef Croquette tasted good, though I was not sure whether there was any real Waygu Beef at this affordable price tag.
