"Weekday 1-for-1 deals, there's more reason to try their pasta."This caught my ears as my mum chanted how great Pizza Hut's 1-for-1 deal is. Immediately, we both headed down to the nearest Pizza Hut to grab our deal. All only for a whooping $13.90 i.e. We spent $13.90 for 2 pax (excl. GST & service charge). Please do wipe your plates, spoon and fork first with tissue/wet tissue because we found some stains over there. I believe they just insert their dishes to the dish-washer so it's not thoroughly clean.
Soup of the Day: Mushroom SoupFor Starters, we were served the Soup of the DAY. Hooray! Mushroom soup is one of my top favourites, though I was quite disappointed the mushroom was given in such stingy quantity... I wish it was some sort of a thicker mushroom, and my mum complained that it was too bland. But oh well, what to do, the deal was quite good what. Better than nothing, right?
Grilled Chicken Parchment, $13.90This is the highlight. If my memory serves me well, the chicken parchment is a new concept brought by the gigantic chain restaurant. It looks extremely presentable, with the clip (that I suppose you can bring home) as a prominent unique feature. Three words- I LOVE IT. I love how PIZZA HUT has tremendously improved their pasta, I NEVER dared to order their Pasta at all before. I only loved their lasagne and their baked rice. GREAT JOB PIZZA HUT! You earn my smile and drools!
Grilled Chicken Parchment (Close-Up), $13.90Just look at the cream... I didn't feel sick of it, you know how some pasta you eat the cream and after awhile you feel so bloated and that you can't eat anymore? Not the Grilled Chicken parchment, nope!
Can I also add the service crew was excellent? There was a woman who was pregnant but she went around serving. The one who served me was a man, and he kept kindly asked if we needed anything.
BBQ Chicken Supreme (whole)Who haven't tried Pizza Hut's Pizza isn't really a true-blue Singaporean. Though I have never fancied Pizza Hut's pizza (for it is heavily tweaked to suit the taste buds of Singaporeans), it is definitely a common food that SGporeans must know, just like our hainanese chicken rice and nasi lemak. Though the crust is thick and the bread isn't the best one to eat... it's something that well, you should, try, at least once.
BBQ Chicken Supreme (Slice)So the sweet sauce that has been dripped over the chicken supreme pizza really made a whole lot of difference. I could feel the oil (mixed with delicious cheese) oozing out as my teeth gripped on it and fulfilling all the beautiful, cheesy dreams that my taste buds had. The chicken chunks were SUPERB! I wish they were more generous with their mozzarella cheese though.
Ice Lemon Tea (Healthier Choice- Refreshing Hits)
You've got the option to pour in your own level of sugar syrup, so the iced lemon tea comes in really sour at first. I always, always, drink ice lemon tea in pizza hut so as to remove the greasy feeling from my mouth!
I really enjoyed the 1-for-1 weekday lunch promotion, and hopefully pizza hut would continue this for a longer time *grins*.
