Being a huge of XLB's, my friend and I got really excited when we saw that Paradise Dynasty had come up with 8 different types of XLB's; Original, Ginseng, Foie Gras, Black Truffles, Crab Roe, Cheese, Garlic and Szechuan.Afraid of being too adventurous, we decided to stick to the safer options which were the Original as well as the Cheese.We had to order Original as we wanted to compare it to Din Tai Fung's XLB's which are our favourite.After trying out Paradise Dynasty, I can safely say that I

We had to order Original as we wanted to compare it to Din Tai Fung's XLB's which are our favourite.
After trying out Paradise Dynasty, I can safely say that I still prefer Din Tai Fung's XLB's as it is juicier and the meat is definitely more tender.
As for the cheese XLB's, it was definitely a unique spin as compared to the original XLB's. Being huge fans of cheese, my friend and I liked the cheese XLB's....initially. However after a couple of XLB's, the cheese became too overpowering and we felt a little jelat.
That's not to say that the cheese XLB isn't good. It IS good but only in small amounts before it gets too overpowering.
Will definitely be a better option to share it among more people!
So if you do pop by Paradise Dynasty and are a cheese fan, do give the Cheese XLB's a try! And of course if you're more adventurous, try the other flavours!
Also, the ambience of this place is very relaxed and laidback and the interior is gorgeously designed! The staff is very attentive and courteous and will refill your Chinese Tea often. Great place for family dinners and you'll love the interior decor!
