The store is the 4th store on the right from the main entrance. Heard from a friend who studies in Ngee Ann Poly that the fish soup bee hoon is nice so decided to head down one Saturday afternoon for lunch. The store has a variety of different staple. the usual thick and thin bee hoon and ee-fu noodle. & the not so usual macaroni, maggi mee. Ordered the usual thick fried fish bee hoon with milk and XO. The store owner is very cheerful. He kept saying chinese XO = hua diao jiu. & even ask if we w

Ordered the usual thick fried fish bee hoon with milk and XO. The store owner is very cheerful. He kept saying chinese XO = hua diao jiu. & even ask if we want to get drunk.. LOL.
Noodle: Springy and tends to get starchy as the meal carries on.
Fried fish: Not crispy as it was probably fried some time ago. no fishy taste so it was quite alright.
Other ingredients: There were some strands of vegetable. you can add more vegetables or bitter gourd for additional $0.50.. Fried shallots are optional.
Overall, I won't purposely head down to eat the fish soup as I can get nicer ones outside.
