It's been a long time since I last dropped by Sun With Moon for a meal, and so I decided to pop by to indulge myself with some good Japanese food! It's amazing that this restaurant has maintained its business here for such a long time and what's even more amazing is that the qualify of food they serve is still top-notch.I ordered the Yakiniku Kamameshi Set ($25.80) which comes with a Chawanmushi and Sashimi. They have a very detailed explanation in their menu about how you are supposed to eat the rice. It comes with a bowl of simmering hot soup which you can pour into the rice. The mild miso soup taste goes really well with the sweet yakiniku rice.
The rice was also chock full of healthy ingredients including yellow chestnuts and broad beans! I especially love the texture of the chestnuts and the rice. The chawanmushi was also very silky and tasty. Everything on my plate that day was really good quality and affordable Japanese food, and it was an extremely satisfying lunch!
