Was glad when Fredo Galaxy came to this area and actually the bakery did make it's existence very obvious with cakes and pastries that one may think you only able to get from a high end bakery in town and not in a mature neighbourhood. It all started witha raspberry tart that caught my eyes and has been getting pastries and cookies from him eversince. Eventhough it's just a small shop but Alfred, the owner/baker is able to produce many different varieties everyday mostly on his own and sometimes I do wonder how he does it, probably he has a magic wand. Prices for the tarts are $2.50 each and he uses fresh fruits and seasonal fruits. His base tart pastry is good and not like those usual ones where they have a coat of chocolate to harden the base so that the cream won't make it soggy but this tart has no choc coating at all. Even if I eat it the next day, the tart base is still intact and not soggy. Really nice!
