After a day of shopping at Kallang Leisure Park, we decided to go for Japanese food at Nihon Mura. As it was our first time there, the waiter was very patient in explaining to us on how to order the food. We need to bring our little small basket to the counters and when we see what we like, we pick up the ice cream sticks with the food item name and put it into our basket. Once we have made our "rounds", we proceeded to the order point and passed the basket to the staff who will key in our order
As for the sushi, we can go to the conveyer belt that was placed at the centre and pick what we like to have and bring it back to our table. Somehow I so not like this concept cos the food I want was not available on the conveyor belt and yet I cannot order them cos they are not on the sticks. So sad.
We had a few plates of sushi and a seafood teppanyaki. Food wise, the quality was quite okay. Just that, I would prefer to have a menu and being able to order items from the menu.
