FullHouse cafe has an interesting concept - everything under one roof! Bar, Food and shop!Decided to try this out cause my friends took so many nice pictures over there! And what's more, many blogshops had been there to take their photoshoots too!Upon entering the restaurant for food at level 2, you can see a small scale fountain and a living room with comfy sofa for picture taking, you can explore around while waiting for your meals to be served and you'll find a corner that sells clothes, accessories, stationaries etc. Another corner for photo-taking in the balcony with fake grass, flowers and birds! Kindly approach their staff for group shots! After dinner, go out and near the bar outside the restaurant, there's a FULLHOUSE colorful striped car that fit 4 person for picture taking! WOOHOO!Okay, back to the food, I would say it's pretty bad for some of the dishes. I've ordered the Terriyaki Chicken Burger, the meat is slightly hard (overcooked?) to slice. However, the portion is rather satisfying! My friend also commented that her order of fried chicken chop is overcooked, we can actually see it from the color. It's dark brown. Wala Wala always has a queue of people on Fridays and on Weekends. Perhaps it should be expected since TGIF and people are here to chill and relax as Wala Wala serves alcoholic drinks, food and football to watch! Viola!We were here on a Monday night to beat the crowd and YES! There's no crowd. We walk in and took a seat and the waiter were quick to deliver their menu immediately. However, we was thinking that the ambience had been a little lacking. There's no air-con on 1st storey (perhaps for smokers) and the tables and chair were like hawker centre type. However, their western dishes were good! As seen in the picture, I've ordered Pan Fried Dory fish with cheesy sauce! The sauce is REALLY FANTASTIC. My friend even took her wedges and dipped onto my sauce. The fish and wedges were decent also. Love that it's wedges instead of fries cause there's more potato taste! On a side note, my friend ordered their spagetti dishes and was rather disappointed cause it's just normal and for that price of around $16, it's pretty not worth it, I rather spent afew more dollars for my dish with yummy sauce (around $20). Was in the area of Holland V and decided to settle for Thai Express for our lunch as the pricing of its food are pretty wallet-friendly. My order, sweet and sour fish with rice. My friend thought this would be like those that we had at food centres "tzi-char" stalls. But to your dismay, it's not. Their sauce is different because it's much lighter and less sweet. Moreover, they uses fresh pineapples instead of can pineapples that are overly sweet to go along with the sauce. Worthy of a try, but if you compare the prices of "tzi-char" stall at around $5 with $10 at Thai Express, you might make do with the "tzi-char" taste. Moreover, we waited for pretty long for our meals to be served perhaps due to the lunch crowd! I'm back at Cedele AGAIN, for their fabulous cakes!I've got to admit, their cake are really good that keeps me coming back for more!Given my previous experience, I reckon that their chocolate are the best, and hence, decided to order this chocolate cheesecake for a try! Although it appears that the layer of cheese cream to be in larger portion and might take away the taste of chocolate, you are absolutely wrong!! The glittering layer of chocolate cream actually covers the tast of cheese more than the other way. As a chocolate lover, this is fantastic! I believed everyone agree with me that the smell and sizzling sound of teppan-yaki definitely grabs one's attention.So here I am, enticed by the rather economical food court price of teppan-yaki instead of restaurant. A set lunch like this with a cup of soft drink only cost me close to $10. The food is okay, where the bean sprouts serving are hugh and crunchy! Didn't make a reservation before hand and have to wait in the queue for about 20minutes as we want the air-conditioned seats instead of those outdoor.Here's all the pancakes that we've ordered. All sweet stuff though. However, on the menu, we did see salty pancakes whereby pancakes are matched with salty dishes such as Chicken. So take your pick! For me, I can't imagine salty pancakes! Each cost around $10/dishwith 3 stacked pancakes.This is what I've ordered! berries pancakes with butter sauce and vanilla ice-cream! The ice-cream wth pancake is heavenly! Located opposite People's Park Complex Hawker Centre, Bunnies sells small buns of various flavor (e.g. cream cheese, sweet potato, red bean)Seeing newspaper articles pasted on its shop urged me to give it a try. Moreover, they have my favorite sweet potato flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. My review, the bread are super soft, even when I can't finish it at one go and place it for 2 days in my house. The fillings are big, a bite into the bun will reveal that half or 3/4 of the bun are stuffed with fillings! Leung Sang HK Pastries originally operates 2 outlets, 1 at Chinatown and the other at Tiong Bahru, however, I've come to know recently that its Chinatown outlet had cease to operate.Here's how the egg-tart looks like! The crust is obviously different from western bakeries and when consumed hot from the oven, the egg-filling totally melts in your mouth! Even when it's no longer piping hot, it still tastes nice with its rich egg fillings. Definitely worth the try at $1.20/each. Dodge in a corner with attractive ceramix displays, you might thought that Tea Cosy sells displays items, hmm, you are half-right. Yes, they sells the display items in their restaurant with foods! Cool concept isn't it, shop while you eat.All their high tea set goes at $19.95. For a whole range of set menus, kindly google and check out their website. We ordered their High tea non-seafood set and seafood set that comes with sweets and beverages.It's kind of disappointing once we know that the portion are really so small when they are served. Wouldn't had indulge in haagen-dazs ice cream if not for the $10 voucher my brother gave it to me. I bet the price at haagen-dazs is inclusive of its ambience and the quality furnishings and seatings.I had only ordered 2 scoope of ice cream and it already cost me slightly over 10 bucks. Twelve cupcake by celebrity artiste Jamie Teo created a cupcake craze and had expanded quickly to many convenient shopping centres. Yay, finally have the chance to try it when I went bugis!I've ordered 3 to make it fit into a box, with strawberry chocolate and chocolate chocolate flavor. The box mentioned that it's best to consume that day orelse keep it refrigerated! These are classic flavors at $3/each. For special flavors that are changed every day (e.g. Lychee Martini, salted caramel), it goes at an additional 50cents, at $3.50.Look at the shiny and thick spread of chocolate cream! I can tell you it's definitely the cream that makes the difference! The sponge cake below the cream is soft and nice too, but other nomal bakeries can easily achieve that too e.g. breadtalk. For people out there who find chocolate a tad too sweet, try the strawberry chocolate then! It's nice too, but for a sweet lover like myself, I prefer the chocolate chocolate flavor. For public holidays and festive seasons, be sure to head down early to avoid disappointment as it is normally wipe out before 7pm! I guess four leaves shot up to fame with its sales of mini breads at 5 for $2.95. It is slightly smaller than palm size and has a variety of flavor to choose from. The famous ones include apple tart, chocolate tart, brownie, sausage/ham crosistant etc.I particularly like this chocolate tart. It's really has rich and generous serving of quality chocolate! With nuts sprinkled on top, its totally awesome!However, it had been some time that plenty of four leaves took it off their shelves and stop selling it already, perhaps, due to the cost of ingredients and I am so glad to find this in the tampiness branch. Decided to head down to TCC cause of the $30 TCC voucher that my friend gave me.Although the ambience and furnishing is excellent, the price is rather pricey!We've ordered 2 chocolate devil cakes, a coffee and passion fruit tea and we've used up all our vouchers!Nonetheless, have to say that although it might not had been worthwhile, but, the cakes and drinks are really not bad. Had you walked passed vivocity honeymoon dessert and found a long queue of people outside? I did realise it a few times and decided to try it after a late night movie before its closing! With a group of friends, we've decided to each order a different dessert for trying! The menu really offers a wide variety of dessert and the it's appealing with a number of durian flavored dessert!In the end we've decided to order a traditional sweet potato soup, mango pudding w sauce, 2 durian pancakes, sesame paste with ice-cream and a red bean soup with glutinous rice.Given the queue that we've witnessed, perhaps, we've built up our expectations too high. I would only say it's pretty normal, perhaps taste slightly above average given its creative desserts and the generous amount of ingredients (of course for a much higher price than hawker centres too). Salted Caramel is located at Upper Thomsom Road where all the late-nighters hang out for supper! My friend faved to me about its ice-cream with pancakes and unique flavors of ice-cream available, hence, I was there to check it out!My review - I've ordered the pitachio and their salted caramel flavor. Perhaps I'm not a pitachio lover, hence, on first try, it really yucks, there is this coarse and sandy taste. As for caramel, I'm not a caramel fan either. So hmm, nothing fantastic about it!
