The FoodI ordered Char Siew rice with added rice. The char siew meat was juicy and tender, nicely charred and slightly lean which I like it as I do not like fatty meat. The rice texture was soft and fragrant and also tastes good even on it's own as I ordered the chicken rice instead of white rice. The ginger and chilli sauce complements well with the char siew meat. The chilli sauce was a little spicy and sour and it enhance more flavour to the char siew. The FoodRecently, I noticed that this famous chicken rice stall at Yishun have same outlet at Ang Mo Kio Central hence I decided to try to see if the taste is the same. I ordered a plate of roasted chicken breast rice with added rice at $3.90. The chicken breast is tender & juicy & not as dry compared to other stalls. I also love the rice which is fluffy & flavourful & not too dry or soft. The rice also have a nice fragrance of garlic and sesame oil. The chili also taste shiok and sourish & not too overly spicy. The FoodThis stall at Golden Mile Food Centre is one of my favourite stalls that served noodles in dry version which I liked it very much compared to the wet version as the yellow mee and thin bee hoon have fully absorbed all the prawn essence stock !Since the small plate is not enough for my stomach, I ordered the big plate Fried Hokkien mee served with fresh small prawns, sotong and thin slices of roast pork. This is my 2nd time ordering from 4 Fingers hence I decided to try the drunsticks as the my previous visit is order their wings. As usual, the queue is long but is worth the 15 mins wait.I ordered the 3 pieces drumsticks combo meal with mixed flavour (Soy Garlic + Spicy) with seaweed flavour fries and passionfruit drink at $10.95The drumsticks size looks decent portion and feel quite full after eating 3 pieces.What I like most about 4 Fingers is their marinating sauce and crispy skin with tender and juicy meat inside which make it so shiok ! I love this stall when I discovered Isle Cafe which is located at Far East Plaza. Last time I tried the Lor Mee hence now i decided to try the prawn mee pok dry at $3.50 only ! The prawns are very fresh and the ingredients & noodles are all given in generous portion. The noodle is springy with shiok chili. I ordered the Subway 6 inches cold cut trio with honey oat for the choice of bread meal at only $5 which consists of additional drink. I will always order honey mustard sauce & ranch as my choice of sauce. The veggies are all very fresh and is the healthiest compare to other fast food. I ordered the Wanton mee at $4 with lots of chili. I like the charred bits of char siew and the fried wanton is crispy and juicy inside. The noodles are springy and the sauce taste heavenly. Even though I added a lot of chili but it does not taste too spicy and yet still can retain the original flavour of the noodles. I ordered the mushroom minced meat mee pok at $5 with lots of chili and vinegar ! This stall rated No 1 bak chor mee in Singapore and is also my No 1 bak chor mee of all the noodles I have tried ! One unique thing about this stall is that they separately cooked the pig liver from the rest of the ingredients and the liver is cooked till so soft until it literally melts in my mouth ! As for the noodles, is springy and their chili is spicy and shiok, and not to forget the vinegar ! The rest of the ingredients are fresh and the wanton is also very nice. Lastly the soup is cooked with the goodness of the pork and taste naturally sweet. There is always a long queue and have to wait at least 45mins during peak hours. I ordered wanton Mee Pok dry at $3. Last time, I tried the old airport road stall hence decided to give this a try to see if is any different from the original stall. This stall use the queue number display system hence can sit down on my table while waiting for my queue number to be displayed. The noodles are springy and the chili also taste shiok but a bit overly spicy. The char siew is tender and juicy and quite lean. As for the wantons, I find that the size is a bit small but the meat inside is juicy and crunchy. Soup tasted quite normal to me. I was attracted by the long queue when I pass by this stall hence I decided to give it a try. As long as the food taste nice, I am wiling to queue up and finally when I had my first mouth of their Hokkien mee, adrenaline rushed into my brain and indeed 1 of the best Hokkien mee I have ever tasted ! One unique thing about this stall is their own-made sambal belachan which is very SHIOK ! The owner also use thin bee hoon together with the yellow noodles. What I like about the thin bee hoon is that it fully absorbed the goodness of the prawn stock hence very delicious. Ingredients such as prawns and sotong are all very fresh too. Ever since I discovered this dessert stall and saw so many reviews & awards, I will always buy from this stall for my dose of dessert. I ordered their speciality "Power chendol" as is also listed in the newspaper & magazines review. Last time I tried their Penang Chendol hence this time I want to try their Power Chendol. What is so special about this stall is that they served generous portion of Gula Melaka drenched on the ice-ball shaped chendol. It reminds me of the ice-ball that my parents used to eat and I love the Power Chendol. Ingredients such as chendol & red bean are all very fresh. Coconut milk also quite thick and overall does not taste so sweet. Best part the price is only $1.50 which is cheaper compared to other stalls.
