It has been awhile since I have actually gotten up to eat a proper hearty English breakfast. Me and my friends went for Saturday brunch at kith cafe and I ordered this big breakfast set with a choice of poached eggs and fluffed bread. This whole set costs about $16 with a generous serving of bacon and mushrooms. Not too bad but I find it slightly pricey. After many months of waiting to eat at lawry's, I finally went there for my birthday dinner. This is the lawry's cut served medium rare. It is really great!! The gravy is thick and flavorful and the beef is really juicy! Eat bite of the prime rib gives of a strong flavor that makes you crave for more! I cannot wait to go back there again! We had fu Lin yong yay foo for lunch today! I love their unique and awesome sauce made with minced pork and poured generously over the deliciously fried yong tau foo! Yummy! Ta Lu prawn noodles! The queue is pretty long and the price is slightly above average at a minimum of $5 per bowl. I ordered their prawn noodles with soup. It is not bad! But the soup could have had abit more prawn taste and flavor. I felt that the taste was not strong enough for me to give it a relatively high rating. Reasonable amount of prawns in their serving. During lunch time at work, me and my colleagues went to hong lim square for the first time. We happened to chance across this famous wanton mee stall and decided to give it a try. It is awesome! It had me hooked at the first try! The noodles are really unique is is slightly hard hence giving it a chewy texture and it is thicker than most noodles. The black sauce is really tasty! You Ji duck rice serve value for money duck set. The queue for you Ji is fast moving! So it is one of my favourite stalls to get lunch during lunch rush. We braved the lunchtime crowd to buy red mango! This is their twist-a mixture of original and strawberry flavor. I ordered it with black berries and granola. It is really delicious! La Nonna's! Me and my friend went down for their very worth it one for one lunch! We were not able to make reservations as they were already fully booked so we went down earlier for walk in. Qiu lian ban mian used to sell really awesome handmade noodles. I feel that the standard has dropped a little but it is still pretty good. The ban mian is chewy in texture and not overcooked until it is too soft. I think that is the best part - the just nicely cooked noodles. I bought a Groupon for a Hugh tea buffet at Museo after seeing all the fantastic reviews about the place. Museo has a great scenery overlooking the Yatch area. For the high tea buffet, I was a little disappointed by the spread. However, their beverages menu offered a great range of teas and coffees.This is their ginger milk tea.
