Omu Rice in Tomato Cream: Delicious though we felt more cheese and ingredients could have been added into the dish. The tomato cream would have been el perfecto if it was a little thicker though!

Fuwa Fuwa: A classic signature dish which consist of an egg souffle capping off a bed of tomato rice. The egg souffle was so fluffy soft it just bubbles and melt in your mouth. Perhaps it was the Omu Rice earlier, we felt underwhelm by the tomato fried rice.

Matcha Pancake with Softee: This dessert definitely caught us by surprise cause we never expect to have such perfectly done pancake which were thick, fluffy moist and crispy on the outside. Definitely a winner in our hearts!

Matcha Souffle: This was the must order menu item the moment we laid our eyes on it. I am pretty glad it didn’t disappoint though souffle deflated and sunk in 5 secs upon reaching our table. Tasting like really rice and moist green tea cake batter. I guess it had a love/hate relationship. Too wet a dessert for my liking but definitely not bad in taste.

What we didnt try was their hand drip coffee which was supposed to be their specialty cause we didnt want to kill our sleep. However I really did enjoyed this meal very very much!

In the new section of Plaza Singapura, I've always spied this restaurant/cafe having an extremely long queue. So one day I decided to give Hoshino Coffee a try and see what the hype was all about! They did not disappoint and proceeded to wow my taste buds. I joined the queue and waited for about 15-20 minutes. The menu is simple and doesn't have such a big variety that will confuse and make you undecided, but enough items to make you want more. The main course! Tomato Cream "Omu" Rice with Shrimp

The main course! Tomato Cream "Omu" Rice with Shrimp and Mozzarella! I was deciding between a few dishes before the words "tomato cream" finally tempted me to try this dish. The dish came rather quickly in about 5-10 minutes, and the cream was really wonderful. The creamy sauce wasn't too strong and the texture was smooth and complemented the omu rice very well. I was a bit disappointed with the portion of shrimps given the price of $15 but the combination of sauce and rice was too wonderful and I'm willing to overlook it! The mozarella was a nice addition although it might be better if it had been melted and cooked with the sauce but I'm no chef!

Matcha Souffle! I have not tried many Souffles so a matcha souffle is definintely a nice experience for myself. You can see that a lot ofe ffort was put into the presentation, and the texture and taste of the souffle was out of the world! The warmness of the matcha flavour lingers in your mouth after each bite, and honestly there's no need to add on whipped cream or softie in this delightful dessert!

Service was really very impressive. Despite the quick turnover rate of customers, the wait staff attended to everyone rather quickly and efficiently and they refilled my glass of water almost immediately every time so props to the staff! If you're willing to wait a bit to get into the restaurant, give this place a try!

Their food is indeed very fine, japanese culture, love their dessert a lot, we enjoy the macha taste very much, their hoshino coffee taste so so only, a nice cozy place to taste nice food although portion a bit small but very high quality food. For a lazy afternoon to relax and chatting, this is a nice place, too much choices of food, salad also very special but too expensive. Their dessert and pasta are the best we ever eaten, yummy yummy. if got chance, will go back eat again.

The softee was a brilliant side to the fondant. It was sweet and gave a nice smooth texture to the cake. It's also cooled down the warm chocolate in my mouth, a very nice complement. I was in heaven for 15 minutes.

The waiters were very friendly and nice too. A great welcome when I first walked in. Any chocolate lover should try this dish out!

Both me and my friend ordered the Hoshino Coffee ($5.800, a toast ($3.80), matcha souffle ($9.80)with softee topping ($0.50), and a croque mosieur ($6.80) and we spent a total of $34.84.
Personally I find that my coffee wasn't hot enough, however it was all being compensated by the food served. Matcha souffle was soft and fluffy. On top of that, it wasn't too sweet, everything was simply perfect about this dessert. Beside that, my friend raved about the toast, ordinary it may look but it was soft on the inside with a slightly salty buttery taste. The croque mosieur was yummy as well, it smelled so good with e melted cheese and the thinly sliced hams.
Overall, the service was attentive and good, food was tasty so no complain =) I will be back soon for more souffle. In fact the tot of the souffle is good enuff to keep me going back for more!!

If you like sandwiches, do try the ones at Hoshino Coffee. I had the egg mayo sandwich and it was quite nice! Toasted bread with generous portion of egg mayonnaise, slices of tomato and lettuce. Great as breakfast or a light snack, do give this a try. Their pancakes are really thick! The outside has a harder texture but the inside is light and fluffy as a sponge cake. I love the lightness of it! Drench it in maple syrup and you're good to go!

the Hoshino Pot Baked Curry Rice:
This Japanese-Style curry rice is so yummy. They have egg, sausage, cheese... All these simple ingredients combine together make it not so simple. Highly recommended!

"Fuwa-Fuwa" Hoshino Souffle:
This dish has an interesting name and it looks so beautiful. But that's it. Under the cover are the Souffle foam and rice. The rice is so wet and bubbly that i couldn't really enjoy.

Lastly, the double Pancake soufflé:
This double Pancake soufflé reminds me of the McDonald's hotcakes. Same smell, same taste, just taller...

This is an interesting restaurant. May go back again to try some other dishes!

Being amazed by the beautiful sample at the entrance is what attract me to this restaurant. As a matcha fan, I order a pancake souffle style with matcha & ogura bean paste. The pancake was hot and fluffy together with the matcha ice cream was really a perfect match. Next, the size of the pancake was really big, but it would have been better it there is more topping.Overall, I would come back again to try their other item.

One of the staff was not adequate in the seating arrangement for me and my partner as he was not flexible enough to seat us at a table meant for 4. However, we realized there was another couple seated at a table for 4, this unfair treatment made me quite angry. We waited for 20 mins when we could have been seated already. Finally, a manager came around to seat us.

When I placed my order, the same staff told us it would take 45 minutes, which is really too inefficient! I timed to make sure no more than that. I think the manager put us on higher priority after he saw that we were quite irritated by the waiting. Impressively, all our orders were served within 16 minutes. Upon finishing my meal, I shook hands with the manager and thank him for the good save. This is a rare sight of a responsible person in the F&B line.

We ordered the Pancake with Chocolate Banana and French Toast. 16 minutes was faster than promised with zero compromise on the taste. The toast was perfect and the creamy ice-cream was created with fresh ingredients. Flawless and very impressive. The initial wait of 30 minutes was made good by the efforts of the manager.

With the new extensions of Plaza Singapura, this place has become much more interesting to shop/walk at.
