Its the perfect fish lover dish i must say. I chose the teochew bean paste style, the gravy goes very well with the fish and plain rice. But i do realized that this fish is probably a clear water bred fish due to a litle mud taste in it. But still it was all good. Its served on a metal plates. fish type is usually song yu tou. To find this stall just look out for the 2 units with blue signage.

This is one of the big stall in Chinatown hawker Centre, 2 stalls to 1. It is just beside the escalator. Order the fish head in bean sauce. This is a Hong Kong style zhi char, I think it is one of the oldest zhi char stall in the hawker. There are many choices of cooking styles. I went on a Saturday afternoon; the stall is already very busy with customers. The fish head is not bad and big portion at only $13.
