我在芳邻美食中心附近工作有10年了。所以我和同事们经常在晚餐时间都会来这里用餐。这里的用餐选择众多,琳琅满目。我在机缘巧合的情况下就接触到了这家的炒粿条。我第一次点的时候,我等了蛮久的。买到第一盘的炒粿条时,就觉得味道很香。吃了第一口的时候就觉得味道很棒。我一下就把整盘面解决掉。这摊子炒的粿条真的好吃。味道浓厚,面条又不会糊在一起。豆芽菜腊肠的配合增加炒粿条的风味。又是我吃了还外带多一份回公司吃。因为价钱公道实惠所以炒粿条的生意不错有时候要等一会儿。讲着讲着哇明天要去吃一盘了。哈哈哈!

This stall is very popular and have won numerous awards for its famous char kway tiao. It always have long queues even at non-peak hours! Decided to order a plate of char kway tiao, with added chili. One plate is $3. It is very fragrant and delicious, oily noodles with pork lard, plenty of cockles, chili and egg. We can taste the wok flavour in the Outram park fried kway teow mee, the kway teow was moist but fragrance from the pork lard added. The kway teow was oily and the sweetness was hit on the spot to create a mouth watering dish.
$3 for the standard serving, $1 extra for more cockles, 50c for more egg.
From our opinion, Outram park fried kway teow mee can be considered one of the best fried kway teow in Singapore but our best love still with the 18 Fried kway teow at Zion Riverside Food Centre.

I went there with the intention of getting Kway Teow at a peak hour and had to get through the long queue but once I had it, I felt it is worth the wait. The fried kway teow was very fragrant and it turned out to be very smooth as well. However, it was a bit oily. Proper amount of black sauce was used for cooking the dish and it was not too sweet. The dish was available at a cost of $3 and it is worth it.

Chinatown is many good food surround, when during lunch hours this stall queue is very long. Need to wait about 15 minutes to be serve. The FoodI ordered the Fried Kway Teow and even though it looks like it has been over cooked with a kind of a brownish pale colour, the taste is fantastic with nice wok hei and moist. The cockles and fish cakes are fresh and the chilli is tasty when blended with the kway teow. Self service. Queues are long especially. Its worth the wait.

While frying the char kway tiao, you notice that the uncle dances. Although he may seems swaying left and right, he is very focus on each and every plate of CKT coming out from this wok.

Very packed during lunch time - noisy. Difficult to get a seat.

I miss Chinese sausage, there were none in there.
It's a famous stall and even the straits times and lian he zhao bao had it advertised.

This stall i wanted to try many times, but every time during lunch time is long queue today i go down early to Hong Lim Food Centre. There no queue. Only have 2-3 customer in front of me. They opening hours so early on 6am! I went there before lunch hours so finally i can try it out. The pieces of lard are crunchy as well. They make the dish more flavourful but leave an oily burnt aftertaste. The whole dish tastes savoury and sweet. A bit of sambal makes the dish looks and tastes better.

Overall, this plate of char kway teow is simply delicious.

This has always been one of my options whenever i have a crazy crave for fried kway teow. This is definitely one of the better choices for fried kway teow in town.

It's really good. With the right amount of wok-hei control and chili sauce, the combination is heavenly and you have to taste it to believe it.

You can ask for no cockles if you are squeamish about that. But if you are concerned with calories, then you might be better off not eating it, because it's cooked the traditional way with pork lard.


But, be careful of the two auntie assistants, when they are serving food to the tables, they will tend to run real fast.
