I am glad to have found this bakery. Their range of breads are really very interesting and are more towards European style of breads with calzone, ciabatta, focaccia. It is a very refreshing change from the usual breads in most bakeries. Some of these breads will have fillings inside while some will just be the bread itself. This is the ciabatta bread without any fillings. I love the taste of the bread. It is very fragrant and has a saltish taste. The bread is also soft in the inside. I will def

I patronised this bakery regularly with my mother. Among all of the many choices of breads there, my favourite got to be the Macadamia Danese. It is a croissant-like bread that coated with chocolate sauce then topped with a lot of macadamia nuts and white powdery sugar. It is priced at $4.00 per piece. It is definitely pricey and the price itself is able to get you a decent meal of rice or noodle. I still think it is worth every cent as it is so delicious.

I got a Ciabatta sandwich from this bakery when i was there to shop. The texture of the bread was quite tough. It required a great amount of effort to bite it and to chew it. Never did i expect ciabatta bread can be this hard. The sandwich consists of tomato and ham sandwiched in between the ciabatta bread with mayonnaise to enhance its taste. It tasted good especially with coffee but i doubt i would buy again as the ciabatta bread is too hard for me.

Recommended from friend so I decided to give it a try. I bought it for breakfast. The bun with curry filling was not bad. It was in a nan kind of dough bread. The ham was fresh and juicy. The price is reasonable.

Decided to try something different, we headed to Peck, a bakery shop besides St Leaven, the bakery we usually patronize when we are at Takashimaya. Well, my friend loved it and like how the baked cheese flavours lingered in his mouth after eating the bread. He actually prefer this to his favourite bread in Four Leaves.

I always get the breads from Peck if I am in Takashimaya since it is the only outlet. Having tried most of their plainer breads like the ciabatta, I decided to try this instead. Having tried the focaccia the other time, I decided to try other kinds of bread. Eventually, I decided on this bread. I can’t recall the name of this bread, but it is very fragrant! There are also bits of chopped walnuts in the bread, making it very nice to munch on if you happen to bite into the walnuts. I enjoyed munching on the bread as it is – plain without any spread, but I think it would go very well with butter as its taste would definitely be enhanced. Their breads are definitely worth a

I was waiting for my hubby at basement two of takashimaya at the fountain. As I was feeling hungry and we are eating dinner in an hours time, I decided to get this mini bread from Peak. This bakery is the sister to St Leaven and it creates different kind of bread. They have ciabatta, foccasia and wheatgerm bread etc. Normally I will just pick up the ready made sandwich in pita bread or ciabatta @$2.60 to $3.00 with either good cut of ham or grilled chicken and they are yummy. Their bread are really nice and besides bread and buns, they even have a section where they sell aged balsamic vinegar and some truffle oisl. I got myself a bun with curry filling, in a nan kind of dough bread, not too bad and the other one was a custard cream horn crossiant, and the cream was good and different from the normal custard, did taste as though it's caramel.
