Strongly recommended by a fren of mine who tried the RamenPlay outlet in sentosa. Since there's another outlet in Serangoon, we decided check it out.The popular Sanpou ramen. Now den i understand y is it called 'san bao' b'coz there are 3 treasure in it. # pcs of meat cooked in different way. Sour and spicy ramen. Hmm..not too bad, taste somehow like the chinese hot and spicy noodles. The ramen here are truly great. They are not overly cooked, has a q q springy texture. My all time fav is still

I simply love the unagi soup rice set at ramen play. The unagi they use is simply delicious. you can taste the freshness of it. normally prefer my unagi not in soup form but ever since I tried their unagi in soup form. I have fallen for it. the soup is absolutely tasty. Not too salty. The soup and unagi goes really well with the white rice. I strongly recommend this dish!

I totally adore the soft shell crab at ramen play. It is a must order whenever I dine there. the soft shell crab although deep fried, still managed to be so juicy. I totally love the batter they use to marinate the soft shell crab. Very buttery and fragrant. I also love the dressing that they drizzle on top of the shell. It adds a special flavouring to the crab. I strongly recommend this.

My friends and i bought some coupons from a website. Each bowl ramen cost $3. I ordered the spicy shoyu ramen. The soup base is quite disappointing... can only taste the saltiness but the meat is nice, it melts! Love it! As for the egg, doesn’t taste too bad but nothing special. Service is good though. The crew was very proactive and polite, efficient too. They attended to ours needs ( like more water etc ) quickly with no complains. But i guess i won’t return again... not worth if not for the

Three of us ordered the same main course Wafu Shoyu Ramen. The soup base was so tasty that i almost finish the soup. I like the egg yolk, it was different from normal egg outside. The restaurant used the premium grade pork to let customers know there are more on quality and not quantity.

I have no idea why we ate ramen again but i guess its because this ramen shop was next to my bf's cheating friend's target located at the ice cream shop nxt to the breadtalk family range which consisted of ramen play at NEX shopping centre.

While deciding what to have for dinner at the new shopping mall Nex, we stumbled upon RamenPlay, which was located at #B1 of the building, next to its parent company, BreadTalk!

I ordered the Wafu Shouyu Ramen, which was delicious! The soup was sweet and tasty, and is made out of a blend of shoyu & fishstock that has been well seasoned. I ordered the ramen with 5 slices of cha shu (pork slices) which very thinly sliced. The ramen also came with Japanese seaweed and half an egg (half cooked) and I loved it when they eggs are half cooked like how they do it, with the egg whites nicely cooked and the yolks still abit running!

My boyfriend had the Pork Toji Set while another one of my friend had the Unagi Toji Set.
The Pork slices in the toji set was nice and thick, however it was pretty tasteless. I think they should season the pork before battering it. However, the sweet onions and sauce did enhance the taste of the pork slices. The whole set was pretty large, and it came with a huge sizzling pot of pork slices, rice, miso soup and a small plate of appetizer (ginger slices thingy).

The service was however, very commendable. We were first placed at a seat near the garbage area. When we requested to move, (cause we could smell the stench from the trash) the manager and service crew were very nice about it. The service staff also regularly refilled our drinks and engaged in small talk which made our visit a very pleasant one. As we were a group of students, the manager even offered to separate our bill for us to make payment!

Overall, a very pleasant visit. Will definitely come back for the great prices and service!
