Firstly, its fast food Cantonese fare....so don't raise your expectation k?Once you've regulated your expectations, their food here is honestly decent. I've tried their Fried Rice which is ok. Prawns are not large but can-spot-with-naked -eye type. I also tried their laksa which is also decent. Gravy is lemak enough and ingredients enough too. Chicken Wings are so-so only, can skip...Not a bad place if you have had enough of Mac/KFC/Burger King for a while...

Love the pork char siew meat inside which is very sweet and tasty, the juicy pork meat is very tender and chewy, and goes very well with the pau.  Flavourful and is defnitely a snack which is suitable at all times of the day.

The Braised Beef &
Tendon Noodles Noodles appearance looked very braised in dark soya sauce. The taste of the beef meat was very good. It was very well braised to tenderness and softness, the jelly liked tendon almost melted in mouth.

The noodle was a bit disappointing. It tasted like ban mian. It was not springy or crispy and lump together.

Overall, the braised beef and tendon were very good but the noodle spoilt the whole dish.

While waiting for my uncle to alight in singapore airport from thailand, I decided to grab a char siew bao as a snack. This Ruyi outlet is quite big and cosy. The uncle service staff is friendly and helpful. For merely 90 cents per piece, it may look small but the quality of it is really good. The bao texture is soft and firm and moist as well. The char siew meat is very tasty which the pork meat has been roasted till really fragrant and tender. Combination was really good...yummy!

The store is located at Terminal 1 #02-90 Level 2 and it is a self-service concept restaurant. Customers will have to queue for order and make payment on the spot at the counter. We then proceed to the next stop to collect our orders. The serving time was quite fast and that’s explain that it is called the Chinese fast food restaurant.

I ordered Zha Jiang Mian ($6.90) and the noodle portion was quite reasonable. The noodle texture is neither too soggy nor soft. It is just nice and the sauce to mix the noodle was good too.

If you would like to opt for something filling and fast serving, you might want to consider this restaurant when you are at Changi Airport.

Just before our flight at midnight, my family decided to have some food before boarding at Ruyi! Ruyi has quick service and fairly affordable Chinese cuisine. I had Shrimp Dumplings Noodles in Soup ($8.50) which was quite nice! Very generous amount of noodles, shrimps and vegetables! However, they did not cut the vegetables and thus I had a hard time eating it. I enjoyed eating the dumplings though. There was about 5 of them, which is more than enough! I think it's quite reasonable for $8.50. Se

Service was quite fast, you go to counter and order, and then wait for awhile before going back to the counter to collect your dishes!

Food was acceptable only. Fried rice was a bit hard and dry. The seaweed egg flower soup has ginger slices in it which I don't enjoy. Dessert was good and refreshing.

Came across this restaurant serving fast Chinese food, all in disposable packagings. A little environment unfriendly but I guess its for takeaway convenience. They serve a variety of dishes, from fried rice to zha jiang mian to dumplings! I ordered an eight piece fried dumpling set. There were shrimps in the dumplings which made it a little different from the normal just minced meat ones. They were freshly fried and there was still the crisp in them.

I chanced upon Ruyi at Terminal One while waiting for my flight out, and after I've since concluded that it is probably the best (and maybe only) mid-range-and-nice-proper-Chinese-food meal option at the terminal. The set up is similar to Chinese fast food style with self service counters (you take your own cutlery and chili etc.) and simple tables and chairs which could possibly seat about 50-60? The only thing is they don’t allow luggage trolleys in their premise so you'll either have to risk

I ordered their signature fried rice set. For $11, you get fried rice, a seaweed soup and mango pudding dessert. They serve their fried rice in disposable cups and the presentation looks very different from what you see in their menu pictures. The portion of fried rice is seems small, but the fried rice was decent. They actually included several mini shrimps and bits of char siew. I think you can find fried rice of this quality at much lower prices at your neighbourhood zhi char stall but since

I think you can find fried rice of this quality at much lower prices at your neighbourhood zhi char stall but since we are at the airport, there aren't many options for good affordable food. The soup was not too bad, you can't really go wrong with seaweed and egg soup. The mango pudding wasn't impressive, just pretty normal.
