I played safer this time round by ordering something most of the diners had. I had a bowl of braised beef La mian, believed to be served in the shanghai style with black soy broth added with their freshly handed pulled La Mian. Vegetables were added but it was not that pleasing as what we were given was somewhere near to the vegetables' butt.

The soup was diluted but tasty, filled with the Shanghainese braised aroma. However, I'm still used to our local braised herb and spices fragrance in the soup. Beef was thinly sliced and infused with their kind of braised aroma. It was hard in texture unlike what we had in a normal hawker braised beef noodles soup.

Often, we will link La Mian with Xiao Long Bao. Following the normal style, we had a tray of steamed dumplings. It was not stated if these lovely Baos had undergone 18 folds on the skin, their texture was doing average, not too thick and I will say not too thick. The fillings were encased in these translucent skin but did not wrap up too well in my opinion as the pleat was not beautifully done.

Taste on the other hand was on the average too. It did not have distinctive taste nor will it fill you with the wow and satisfying ooze of the "Soup" in it.

Overall, if you have more to spend, I'm sure there will be more satisfaction archived from the Chinese Restaurants in the Mall.

For $5, this item is the most pricy item on the menu that is offered at this stall. What drew me to the stall was the man who was pulling and making the noodles from scratch. However, the disarray that the counter was in and how he had to go behind to make the soup did not make me feel that a lot of love and care was put into my bowl of noodles. The bowl was served hot as the soup, I believe was heated up behind after inserting the beef strips (which didn't taste particularly fresh). The soup was very tasty, but halfway through the noodles, the sodium got to me and I couldn't have anymore.

It was such a waste to end a day with an unsatisfiable dinner. I waited in agony about 10 minutes in front of the stall, seeing customers who came after me got hold of their orders before me and hoping that my dinner will be a good one. Unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster, though the plate of Nian Gao (Rice Cake) was scooped and freshly fried from the wok, it tastes too gluey and with sourish taste. It was a total turn off. In the end I only ate its ingredients - the cabbages, mushroom

I ordered a plate of the shanghai dumplings to share with my partner. There was quite a fair bit of meat as filling nicely wrapped in a slightly thick skin. It was then steamed it and served with shredded ginger in vinegar. The overall taste was an acceptable one. It is best eaten by dipping it into the vinegar and had it with the shredded ginger. It can be a good alternative if get tired of the usual noodle or rice. It was a satisfying meal.

I ordered this bowl of beef noodles from Shanghai Delights. This is my first time ordering from this stall, and I had wanted to order the spicy noodles but it was out of stock. Nevertheless, I thought the noodles was very nicely "pulled" and cooked just right. However, I was disappointed with the beef. The stall owner had given me most of the tendons portion, making it very hard to chew and swallow. Moreover, the beef wasnt tender. I would probably steer clear of the beef noodles and order other

I’m extremely particular when it comes to eating “xiao long bao”. Mainly because I simply enjoy the taste of the delicacy. I thought “shanghai delights” would serve delicious xiaolong bao but apparently I was wrong. The skin is so dry and sticky, it is hard to suck the soup out. Moreover, the amount of soup in it was pathetic, meat was tasteless. THUMBS DOWN!

I simply love the wanton in red chilli oil at jurong point food court. Firstly the portion is a lot, more than 10 wanton... So worth it. Then they are very generous with their garnishings as well. They use mixed vegetables as their garnish and it really goes really well with the chilli oil and vinegar. The wanton are juicy and tasty. Really worth my money!

Went to Jurong Point for dinner with my family over the weekends and I decided to try the xiao long bao from the stall Shanghai Delight. My brother also ordered the fried chicken la mian from the same stall. The noodles were alright but the xiao long bao is quite disappointing. The skin is thin and the taste of the meat is alright. However, the meat is quite dry, unlike the others which had a lot of soup in it.
