Was craving for Korean food at far east plaza (FEP) and the only place that i can think of to dine at is su Korean cuisine, located at basement 1 of FEP. The staff came with scissors and cut the noodles as they are really long and lumped together. The staffs there were generally very friendly and attentive. I was quite happy with their service. Anyway, the cold noodle was alright, but nothing fantastic about it too. It was quite different from those i have in Korean. The taste was quite plain. The portion is quite huge and i couldn’t finish it.Overall, i will only be back in future for their Korean bbq.

Sweet watermelon cut in the shape of a heart for dessert. Nice ending to an authentic korean meal.

Their panjeon was improved in terms of the quantity and the 'not-so-greasiness'. I would recommend to order their oxtail soup and beef short ribs (not pictured). Both bowls arrived promptly and was filled with meat. There's glass noodles inside and it's served with rice. Very hearty for the stomach, especially if you're down with a cold.

We ordered the set for 2-3 persons.
It was quite a lot, we were super full!!!
All orders come with the side dishes (8 dishes)

Our meal consists of the ginseng chicken soup, beef bibimbap plus chicken and beef hotplate slices

The ginseng chicken soup was quite watery that day, the beef bibimbap is very tasty and the chicken and beef hotplate slices are very good to wrap along with the lettuce

We had cute watermelon in heart shape slices to round up the fabulous fulfilling meal, great way to end the weekend!

My favourite of the side dishes is definitely the bean spouts. I have a irrational weakness for Korean bean spouts which is quite surprising cos I hate the one we usually have locally.

The Spinach, ikan bilis and Kimchi are nice too. Not too fond of the rest.

Between me and my friend, we ordered 2 sets to share, which are the Seafood Bean Paste Soup & the Pork Bulgogi Hot Plate set.

Seafood Bean Paste Soup ($12.80++)

I love Korean Bean Paste soup so this is usually a must-order for me. I think the soup here is great, not too salty with just enough spiciness and tons of ingredients in it. I would order this again.

Pork Bulgogi Hot Plate ($12.80++)

Their Pork Bulgogi Hot Plate is average for me. The pork pieces are just the right sizes, cooked to the right texture and chewiness. Would recommend to people who likes Korean Bulgogi..

Overall, the service here is great and the staffs are attentive to what you need. Their A la Carte is on the slightly expensive side but their lunch specials are really affordable at $12.80 per set.

They also provide these cute little wet towels to clean your hands with when you are done with your meal!

lastly, kimchi pancake. the only dish that disappoint us.. we could hardly taste the kimchi.. and the pancake is rather tasteless to me.

As for the kimchi noodle, the presentation look very appealing with several chives and shitake mushroom on it. The soup has a rich taste and nice aroma of the kimchi, the noodle is well cooked and has a QQ texture.

All in all, since this restaurant was nicely tucked in a cosy much more 'eluded' corner, it is really a nice place to chill.

Wonderful authentic korean cuisines can be found here. We ordered a few meat dishes for BBQ. We have a plate of beef. The portion is pretty huge. The cuts are thick and chunky as well. There's a quail egg and onion alongside too. I must say the beef is pretty fresh. It is juicy and succulent at first bite. You can BBQ to your preferred doneness as well. Service was prompt. No complains! I will come back for more!

I love their side dishes! EVERYTHING is delicious! I'm not a fan of korean dish. But it is really nice! Try it and decide for yourself!

Overall, service was all fine just that I find the price a little high though.

As I mentioned, we were really lazy, so when the waitress asked if we wanted to cook the meat ourselves or let the cooks inside do the job for us, we requested for them to cook for us inside.

The dishes are quite authentic. I love the wide range of appetizers which were all very appetizing and make me crave for more before the main course came in. The dishes all came in one by one. After the appetizer came the BBQ pork and chicken. This is nothing Korean style. Felt like eating normal hotplate. The rice and soup came and the soup is normal too. A bit blend. Next the Seafood pancake was served. This is like carrot cake cooked in seafood. Quite nice, crispy on the outside and filled with prawns, octopus etc on the inside. The Vermicelli is our top favorite dish of the day. It has a sweet taste. We don't quite like their pork with Kim Chi. Pork is too fatty and the kim chi is too spicy.

Their drinks are super overprices. The only cheap drink is their Korean Tea which is $1. Free flow juice cost $6.50!!! Can use that money to order a dish!
