The Manhattan FISH MARKET (Closed)

People go to Manhattan for its fish, but I go there for its dessert! I first tried this back in 2010 and since then, I am hooked to it. The tiramisu is really awesome in my opinion. The cream cheese is so soft and smooth and not too overly heavy on the taste such that you cannot taste other ingredients. The coffee adds a tinge of bitterness to the creamy dessert and the sponge cake also adds a different texture to the tiramisu. It is really love at first bite for me.

Tried the Giant Fried Platter for the first time with my missus and we both left unimpressed.Plus: Fried shrimps are very fresh and tasty and the garlic herb rice is still as good. Thumbs-down: The fried calamari is over-fried and tastes overcooked. The fried fish nuggets are mediocre and tastes just like those you can get from any decent Western meal caterer. Could do with greater servings of fried mushrooms and brocolli and carrots.Maybe convert fries to cheese fries to make it betterDisappoin

the tuscan tiramisuMost people would compare Fish&co with the Manhattan Fish Market. I would say both is closely comparable if you are talking about Fish&Chips.The waiting time is not long, plus the service is very good. The surrounding is also very clean and the atmosphere is also suitable to hold gatherings or celebrations. Overall, the food is good, price is reasonable. We end our dinner around 8pm and go straight to Daiso to shop.

I bought a deal with a couple of friends at groupon.com and had a meal at The Manhattan fish market. We tried their fried seafood platter, the first bite was tasty but subsequently, it became more and more not appetising. Maybe because it's fried, that's why the more we eat the more sick it became. However, one thing i have to say is that the rice is really nice.The manhattan fish market reminds me of fish and co but the prices are a little bit more expensive. I'll like to try it again but next

Now, this is what I call an excellent calamari even though a bigger, juicier one could be better. You can see that the calamari is not overcooked, or else it would have shrunk. The skin is fried well, very crispy. The calamari tastes fresh and has that “poing poing” feeling when you bite into it. Yummy!

i quite like the grill seafood platter at manhattan, it includes quite a wide variety of seafood and the side dishes are nice too. i like their choice of fishes too because some time if the ingredients are not fresh, it can have a strong fishy taste. in additon, the restaurant has promotion quite often which makes it even more attractive

I love Manhattan fish market. One of their side dishes is fried county butter mushrooms. On first bite, the juice of the mushroom will flow into your mouth. And the fragrance of the butter and mushroom will tantalise your tastebuds. Absolutely delicious! Their fish is crispy and tasty as well.Yummy!

I absolutely looove cream of mushroom.The one I ordered in Manhattan is very different from the cream of mushroom elsewhere. It's very thick and creamy and there are mushroom bits inside it that make it a whole lot tastier. I always like my cream of mushroom with abit of pepper to add that extra boomz! ;)

Had myself a Summer Love meal and I must say, it's a nice blend of zest!A small starter for the main at the side, the salad is exquisite. My friend and I were craving for cheese fries and so we ordered it. The fries was not very crispy and the cheese was quite pathetic. It was not sufficient and we had to order more cheese. It was $1 for a cup of cheese. Not worth the money. In the end, we did not finish our fries.

It was the fasting month and my friend and I decided to break fast at Manhattan. We ordered the flaming platter for one as we were afraid that we would not be able to finish it. To our suprise, everything was gone within minutes! The flaming platter comes with 2 prawns topped with sweet mayonnaise, squid, dory fish, herb rice , broccoli and carrots. The prawns were our favourite. The mayonnaise made it even nicer. The dory fish is also well cooked.

Fiery Cherry Snapper & Mussels $12.90The cherry snapper is grilled with hot spices which gives a little spicy asian flavour to the dish. The mussels are covered by a sambal sauce which is very Malay taste.. I like the garlic herb rice which gives a fragrant butter garlic taste and is perfect for the fish and mussels.

I love the soup of the day: mushroom cream soup.Creamy and full with mushroom flavour.I like the feel of sharing a platter, with rice, fish fillet and other sides.

Ordered the Fisherman's Platterwhich consists of calamari,prawns,fish..& it fed 4 people Fish -not bad ,crispy outside & inside was tender & juicy Rice - abit oily ,soft and full of garlic favourPrawn - quite fresh & nice Calamari - abit firm & hard for a set that fed 4 person,quite reasonable & worth to try !!
