However I had wished they would cut the items into smaller bite sized portions which makes eating them easier.

Today ordered 8 items but was charged $2.60. Why? Aunty said I got 7 items (30 cents each) + tang hoon (50 cents each). The tang hoon is put together with the rest on the display shelf and its special price is not stated on the sign board. (Please note that rice, bee hoon, laksa soup all have the prices stated on the board). The tang hoon is cooked till soft and very easy to eat. The rest of the items such as beancurd skin and chicken cutlets are deep-fried till crispy. Overall it is still an ok

Today this stall has the shortest queue. Everyone is queuing at the chicken rice stall.Today having 7 items ($2.10) in Laksa soup base (with additional $0.30) to go with plain rice ($0.30). Total amount $2.70. I double check to make sure everything is right. The laksa soup base tastes more watered down than before. No laksa leaves available to enhance the taste.

Just went to Nanyang Poly for lunch. Not much queue at the Yong Tau Foo stall so come here. Selected 7 items ($2.10) + bee hoon ($0.30), dry version. Should be $2.40 but the aunty charged me $2.70. That is not the worst. While eating, found that I have at least 2 items missing. Where is my taiwan sausage and chicken cutlet slice? My friends who are eating with me said this is common at this stall. I will think twice the next time I want to eat here.

As you can observed from the picture, the rice bowl was pouring full. They aunty gave me so much rice till I still feel very full until now
The quality of the rice was not bad, not those soft type of rice. Thank god!

The boiled eggs are B grade in size, was nicely boiled.

The cabbage portion was just SOOO much that I think it was a quarter of a whole cabbage.
And the rest of the vege are all fresh, not overcooked. Totally love them!!
What a healthy and satisfying lunch I had!

p/s: I ordered all-soup yong tau fu, didn't want to eat any fried ones

Service was so-so. Price was affordable for students!
Just a little crowded during lunch hour!

First time i eat this with noodles. Normally i prefer yong tau fu with plain rice but i wanted to try something different this time. It turns out that it is actually quite satisfying for me because it is not too full and bloated as compared to rice. I like the fried wantan and dumpling the most. I usually take more vegetables than fried stuff because i personally prefer healthier boiled food

I seldom come here to eat. The reason is it is too far from my school's lab and besides, there is not much choice here compared to other canteen in my school...Every time we came here is to eat Yong Tau Fu!!haha...Yup, it is not bad and I find it nicer than the Koufu's. It has great taste of the soup and really sweet. Besides that, it has larger portion compared to Koufu's

I had Yong Tau Foo on the other day at Chervon House at Raffles place. Well, I love to eat healthy food and for me yong tau foo is one of my first choice whenever I love to change my appetite and go for healthy meal! This meal has plenty of vegetable, tau foo, fish ball,.. all boiled up so there is absolutely no thing fried here. I like the bee hoon. It's so silky and soft. It's very easy to chew too. The only stall that actually attracts me to walk all the way to North Canteen. 7 ingredients for only $2, cheap enough right? The soup base is quite yummy. They do have wide variety of ingredients for you to choose, such as hard-boiled eggs, vegetables, mushroom, meat, and etc. For some ingredients, they will also fried it for you instead of just cook it together with the soup. The service can be quite slow sometimes but you won't mind waiting as long as it tastes good right?
