The ban mian stall at koufu is one of my favorite stall as recently my friends and i need to rush on our report and thus, recently we had our lunch or dinner very often at Koufu as this is the nearest canteen from our lab.

I like the soup served from the stall as the soup had a just nice level of sweetness. I had ordered the dumplings noodle. I like the dumpling served with the ginger and vinegar. It tasted very NICE!!

Will definitely order this dish again and again..

Need to finish and pass up my report on time and thus need to overtime and stay at school with friends to pull thing out. Decided to go dinner at Koufu, as it is the nearest canteen located from our lab.

I had ordered the spicy pork ribs rice from korean cuisine. I dislike the taste of the pork ribs as it tasted very "pork". If you like the taste of pork then you will be very into this dish.

But overall is ok as the sauce given is nice and the kimchi served was tasty and crunchy.

I like to order the food from the vegetarian stall whenever i pay a visit to south canteen as the price offered from the stall is reasonable and the taste of the dish is quite nice.

I like the deep fried crispy thing spread on my rice. I like to order that when it is available. The crispy thing don't have the smelly oil taste as some of the others stall selling it is using the reuse oil to fried the thing and thus some of them do have a smelly oil taste. And it is not healthy too.

Will definitely pay a visit to this stall again.

Went to airport to farewell for my friend as she was going to fly to Japan to do her attachment. We had decided to organize the farewell at Dian Xiao Er(DXE) as she is going to stay at Japan for 3 months and all of us think that she will be missing the Chinese cuisine as in Japan it is hardly to find a local, cheap and delicious Chinese restaurant.

We had order two set of dinner set. One set A dinner for 4 person and one Healthy set dinner for 5 person. We had total of 9 person. As we want to try more variety of dishes, we decided to go for two set dinner instead of order one set dinner for 9 person. The difference is that the portion offered is smaller for both of the dinner set but we had the chances to try more variety of dishes.We had tried the ten wonder roasted duck. This dish is the main signature dish from DXE. It really did tasted nice. I like the roasted duck. It was tender and it smell very nice with the herbs marinated onto it. There are three sauce for the roasted duck. One of them is the ten wonder which is what we ordered, this sauce is more chef recommended as it is the sweetest among the three sauce and the herbs fragrance is not that strong compare to the rest. This sauce is more suitable for some of the customer and children who don't like and cannot withstand with the taste of the strong herbs.We had ordered the wheat tofu. This wheat tofu is made by the restaurant themselves. The wheat tofu is fried then it is served with sauce together with broccoli, some seafood and veggie. This dish is also chef recommended as the wheat tofu is a more healthy choice for city people who lead a busy lifestyle. The saltiness was just nice for me and i like the tofu. The tofu had a crispy outer skin with a very fine soft texture for the inner flash. This dish name is baby kailan. The kailan is fried with chilies and green lime and thus the dish has a very unique taste. It tasted sour and spicy at the same time. The veggie was very fresh and well-cooked. The taste of sour and spicy was just nice for me. It tasted very "harmony" together with the veggie and the sauce. I like it very much.This dish called dong po rou. I think this dish was just normal for me. The pork was a little bit oily for me. But still ok for overall. The sauce was a little bit too oily and cold for me as it cool down very fast.For the healthy dinner set, they had herbal jelly as dessert. The herbal jelly tasted normal, nothing special to impress me. And the syrup offered is just melted white sugar instead of honey. I don't like it.

Will visit DXE again as i want to try others food.

The noodle stall at north canteen always offers different dish menu for each day. Last few days ago, one of my classmates wanted to go north canteen for lunch as she was craving for the yong tau fu there.

As for me, I only ordered yong tau fu from koufu day before, so I decided to try something else. I decided to go for prawn noodle that day.

At first I tried the prawn noodle without the chili provided. It tasted light and normal. But after I add on the chili provided. The prawn noodle tasted very nice as the chili really did add in a lot of flavor inside. It made the soup spicier and more salty. LOVE the chili very much!!!

Went to south canteen to have lunch again. And I choose to go for Indian food again as I really don’t know what to eat and the queue for the stall was the shortest compare to others stalls. This may due to the workers from the stall serve customers in a way quick and efficient way.

The food for that day tasted as normal. But the drumstick was a little rare. Love the curry they served.

When I feeling not well or have not appetite or feeling too full, i will choose to go for porridge. The porridge from koufu chicken rice stall tasted quite nice and the price is very affordable. $2 for one bowl of porridge, but the portion will be quite small.

The porridge on that day tasted a little bit too salty for me as you can see in the picture, the porridge was full with soya sauce, but I do like the sesame oil smell. It made me felt like got appetite to finish the porridge.

Went to have dinner with friend at South Canteen as there was event at night thus we wanted to have our dinner early.

There were not much stalls open at that time. I felt sick of always ordered food from Indian stall and economic rice stall. Thus I decided to go for fried rice at Vegetarian stall.

The fried rice portion was small for me. It was a little too salty for me. But overall, it tasted ok. I love the crispy thing spread on the fried rice. Will consider order next time.

As I mention before chicken rice is my all-time-favorite!!!

Every time if I have no appetite to eat or don’t know what to eat, I will choose to go for chicken rice. Last few days ago, my classmates and I went to south canteen to have our lunch. I really don’t know what to eat on that day, thus I choose to go for chicken rice at south canteen.

The chicken rice at South canteen on that day tasted nice. The rice is well-cooked and smells fragrance. The chicken is moist and tender. I prefer the soup they served. I like the cabbages in the soup.

Will definitely order this food again next time.

Went to Taka to shop and do some personal stuff. After we had our lunch at food village, we went back to have our dinner at food village again as we lazy to think where to eat and there were two seats just nice for us to fit in and thus we decided to have our dinner at Food village.

For dinner, I ordered the beef set from the beef noodles and pig’s offal soup stall. The set was nice. I like the taste of the beef slides combined with the sauce served. The sweetness and saltiness of the sauce was just nice. The soup was nice also. I love the beef flavor inside the soup.

Furthermore, I like to emphasize that the beef was fresh and this was very important as if the beef served was not fresh the dish will be disaster to eat.

Went to Takashimaya again to do some stuff. And we also went to Food Village again to have our lunch.

This time, I decided to go for porridge as I am not feeling so well and wanna try something simple and nice. The porridge served was quite nice. The grain is all broken and thus sort of creamy.

But the porridge is quite salty for me.

Will visit this stall again if got chance.

Went to Takashimaya with friend to shop around. After shopping, both of us felt hungry so we decided to have our lunch at Food Village which located at B2.

I choose to go for the duck rice which offered by Roasted delight as I saw the queue was long and I thought that the must be something special to attract those people so I queue for it also.

I sort of regret the decision I made. ==

The duck rice tasted “below” normal. The rice was not well-cooked. It was hard. And the duck was hard also but it was acceptable. The sauce served was salty.

But the aunty did gave a very nice and freindly service.

Went to North canteen to have lunch with my friends. This time I decided to go for North canteen chicken rice which I never tried before as every time I visit North Canteen, I will usually go for Yong Tau Fu.

I didn’t regret my decision as the chicken rice tasted nice. I love the fragrance smell of the rice and the rice was very well-cooked. The chicken was tender and moist. I prefer to eat my chicken with black sauce. I love the soup they serve also!!!

As I said before, I am a big fan of the south canteen Indian stall in my school.

Recently the prices of the food at that stall has been rise up a little bit. For example, previously when I order two vegie with one drumstick, the dish only costs me for $2.5. But now that dish will costs me about $2.7.

Anyway, I still prefer to order the food from there. I LOVE the wedges from the stall!!!
