An Angelic Dinner @ Tea Cosy Smile Dec 05, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Restaurant

Surrounded by tons of Angel Figurines and deco, Tea Cosy is definitely every girls dream place to dine in!

I personally tried both and I prefer the Lychee Breeze best as it is very smoothing & cooling while the peppermint cool (with marshmallows on top of it) taste just like milk powder with mint which is very awful. mad

And here's my friend main dish :
(The salad comes along with the Steak)
Salad for the Steak

Steak with potato

Steak with potato

I quite like the Steak as it is very well done(fresh & tender too) and the crispy potato with it is so tasty that I crave for more immediately after my friend let me try the first slice!

I highly recommend steak-lover to try their steak while the only flaws is with the salad bowl. The small bowl that they use is not ergonomics friendly at all and the veg tends to fall out every time when we attempt to pick the veg with our folks. sad

Next up is this mushroom pasta which I love it to the max!
The mushroom they use are all so big, fat and juicy that the whole pasta carries a very strong mushroom smell ~!!! tongue

Lastly, my 'Bangers'(German sasuage) with mash potato & coleslaw :
Bangers & Mash

Bangers & Mash

The mash potato is rather tasteless and I don't like the alfalfa sprouts at all which makes me feel like a cow chewing on raw grasses but the sasuage is quite good as you can see from my pix smile

Overall, I really like the place, ambience and food and I can't wait to go back again to try their high tea sets on this sofa with my friend.smile

The Daily Scoop (Sunset Way)  Smile Mar 12, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Ice Cream and Gelato

A nice place to laze one's afternoon away at The Daily Scoop cafe.

Went once with my friend and I fail in love with the place straight away.
The wall design is so adorable cute that I thought I am entering into a
nursery school. tongue

My friend intro me to have their waffle with a scoop of 'simply chocolate'
ice-cream on top of it and it taste marvelous! The chocolate taste is so
heavy and it goes well with the waffle! Damn nice!

I was told that all their ice-cream are all hand-churned and made in-store
by their staff which explains why the taste of each flavors are so heavy and
nice. Really worth the money and hassle going down as the location of the
store is located quite inaccessible for public transport hence it'd be better if
you've got your own transports.

Overall, it is a nice place serve with so many unique flavors of ice-cream.
Do visit, as it is 100% worth! lol

Company Dinner Smile Mar 11, 2011
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Dim Sum

*Picture provided is just part of the dish I had tried when I visited Paradise Pavilion with my ex-company on Nov'2010 and I do not know the actual name of each dish as arrangement has been made for us by the manager there since my ex-boss is their regular so they roughly know his preference.Anyway, let's get started ..

I am very impressed by the interior design of Paradise Pavilion the moment the lift door opened at the 2nd floor of Marina Bay Link Mall! It is so posh and dreamy and they only have private rooms over there hence if your groups is bigger like 15 to 20 people, they can actually open the dividers for you and transform 2 private rooms into 1 big one.

Customer service, no 1(no joke). And each private rooms even had a big & pretty cupboards filled with lots of big drawers for the guest to put their bags/handbag so that they can enjoy the food through out meals without misplacing their bags messily. *Thumbs Up for this*

Among all the food serve that night, my top 3 most recommended dish will be :
No. 1 Peking Duck (Must Try!)
(Every ingredients they use like the sauce, duck, pancake .. etc are flown in directly from Beijing/Shanghai as claim & explain by the waitress while the chef prepare for us.)

No. 2 Appetizer (Scallop - Wasabi Prawn - goose liver)
The Wasabi Prawn is the most unforgettable dish for me although I had ate it before at other restaurant, Paradise Pavilion one no fight!

No. 3 Mango Pomelo Dessert
A must try! Very different from what serve at other restaurant! I almost order another one for this but for the sake of my bloating stomach I didn't sad

Rest of the dish is nice too but the above 3 are my top most recommend must try! lol

Admiral Bar & Grill  Smile Mar 09, 2011
Categories : Restaurant | Steaks and Grills

Located at Singapore Flyer, Admiral Bar & Grill is a restaurant cum bar with nice ambiance facing the 'sea' of marina south. I had my dinner there with my boyfriend on this year V'day for the first time (after I did some research online) and we were both very impressed by the quality of food they serve.

We were first served with our drinks while waiting for our food to be done as they only start to grill your food upon order hence it will takes some time for the food to be served.

I had Pepper Corn Chicken Chop (A Must Try!) *Recommend by chef too*
Served with baked potato, garden greens & spicy mustard sauce.
(Price at S$14.90 before tax & service charge)

The chicken chop, is so tender that I need not chew much and it's mild corn taste will still lingers in my mouth even after I swallow the meat. *Thumbs up*

And the baked potato (I actually didn't expect much of it), to my surprise is so delicious! The potato skin is still a little crispy when I ate it and I guess it is the mayo sauce and the orangey stuff on top of it (I don't know what's that but it is very nice & crispy) that make the whole baked potato so nice!

And my boyfriend had their Rosemary Ribs.
Served with potato wedges, spicy mustard sauce & Chinese garnish.
(Price at S$18.90 before tax & service charge)

Again, the quality of their food is superior! I specially like the potato wedges on my bf's plate cause it is so crispy!

Really can't wait to visit them again as they are closing soon for relocation!sad
