I love hotplates and especially a hotplate that is filled with steak and sizzling sauces where this is why it is so attractive!

Paid a visit to this joint with my beloved gF and was sure what I wished for on my dinner! Service is prompt with no delays and we were being served within 10 minutes after our ordering. Serving is generous as shown.

No complains on the food quality as this is what is like for HK cafe. You may all consider on this joint should you be witihin the area.

Lush in a park! Smile Apr 18, 2011

Categories : Singaporean | Restaurant | Pasta

A secluded restaurant tucked nicely in the mist of Bishan park that promises all the lush and serenity be in the day or night.

Was keen to try out the restaurant within the vicinity and finally made my way to Acacia. Setup was simple and was surprised to see that the indoor area is empty. A not a positive tell tale sign to my gut feel. However things turn out to be quite different and the quality served is definitely comparable to some reputable western joint.

Do not be fooled by the appearance as the food will send the positive signals that you have been anticipating!

Porridge @ ACP Smile Apr 18, 2011

Am back once again with my favorite porridge joint and guess am a happy fan as always!

Fresh and starchy charcoal cooked porridge that will warm any's glutton heart and stomach. For all gluttons that are keen to have a light and fulfilling portion, ACP is your ideal choice.
My recommendation is to drop in during late nights with timing after 8 pm!

Do try out this joint!

Heavenly King Smile Apr 18, 2011

Categories : Bak Kut Teh

My personal favorite on this heavenly king of BKT! Ng Ah Sio is a hit on the heavenly list.

With a prolonged history and the infamous "rejection'' to the HK Governor, this king is the one to visit. With a new refreshed look and renovations and perhaps the only BKT joint that relies on hand held food ordering devices, you will be well pampered with their service and taste.

Love the peppery soup base which is one of the most important criteria for being the heavenly king, the soft and succulent signature ribs that are well cooked but retaining the melt in your mouth meat texture and a to die for desire. A must have selection which is their pork skin, well stewed with no sense of elasticity.

A king is not to be miss with extended hours till 10pm!
