Sweet treats @ TCC MBS Smile Jun 12, 2012

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

It was a friend's birthday and we decided to give her a sweet treat from TCC at MBS.

We ordered a semi-cake called... Berry Perfect (IF MY MEMORY DIDN'T FAIL ME).
The friendly staffs served the sweet treat not long after that. So pretty!

Too pretty to eat, in fact. It was a semi-cake, with a cream center.
And on top of it was garnished with beautiful raspberries and a brown tart.
The sides of the plate was beautifully garnished with strawberries too! So pretty, really.

Sweet treats like these always makes me go gaga over it!
Highly recommended as it's really pretty. Ahh!

Canton-i @ ION Orchard  Smile Jun 12, 2012

I've always had a thing for chinese food, Hong Kong cuisine especially!

My friends and I went to Canton-i the other day at Orchard ION. Fabulous food!
My favourite "liu sar pao" aka salted egg bun was super awesome. Salty yet sweet... It's like the best of both worlds!

A little too pricey however I'd say. Lower the price a little bit for us, the penniless peasants?

Back again with sweeter food this time round!

This is the pastries from Chin Mee Chin Confectionery, located somewhere at Katong!

I love how it's quite cheap and they sell freshly-baked egg tarts and custard puffs. The eggs tarts with the deliciously yellow fillings just makes me melt. And not forgetting it's crispy and buttery tart! Heavenly. Plus the fluffy custard puffs, of course.

Sweet stuffs are comfort food. smile

Pastamania @ Causeway Point Smile Jun 10, 2012

Sorry guys, but I'm really a sucker for pasta. This one is Mussels 'N' Clams in homemade broth (trying this broth for the first time) and I thought it tasted like some..pasta with soup! >< not exactly to my liking - I still prefer the good ol' tomato sauce with it.

I love this dish for it's fresh mussels and clams! Really filling dish with lots of parmesan cheeeeeze.

Good service, but the CWP is slightly too stuffy for my liking. Bring the air-con out, bro!
The huge shellfishes I love.

Shabu Shabu @ Ichiban Sushi  Smile Jun 10, 2012

I can't express how much I love Jap food! This one is a cook-it-yourself, shabu shabu-style found at Ichiban Sushi. This dish is served with the hotpot and a candle below. The staff lits the candle up and the soup will start to boil. Shabu Shabu your beef in the hotpot, and take it up whenever you want. Rare or well done in soup? smile
Excellent service too!

Japanese food again never fails to lighten my spirits up.
