Soup Spoon - Raffles Place  Smile Sep 15, 2012

Soup Spoon is my favourite place for lunch although the shop can be really pack during lunch hours. I ordered from the daily specials menu, broccoli and cauliflower with blue cheese soup. It tasted really delicious as I could taste the piece of melted cheese in the soup. I could bite the small pieces of broccoli and cauliflower as well. It costs $8.90 for the soup.

Astons  Smile Sep 15, 2012

Astons serves really good western food and the best part is the prices are cheap and reasonable. There is always a long queue especially during dinner and lunch time. People usually comes in large crowds so the waiting time for two people is usually much shorter. I ordered the black pepper chicken chop with corn and french fries as sides. I like the black pepper sauce as it goes will with the chicken meat. The chicken was soft and tender, while the fries were crispy and the corn is sweet. It costs only $6.90 for the meal.

Viet Kitchen - Kopitiam Smile Sep 15, 2012

We settled for dinner at Kopitiam at Plaza by The Park, which I walked one round in the food court before deciding to have the fried seafood tang hoon from Viet Kitchen. I made a special request to have less oil and salt. The tang hoon was tangy and the seafood ingredients were quite generous in portion. The portion was sufficient to keep my stomach full. It costs $4.50 for the meal.

We had a special occasion to celebrate a friend's birthday and we decided to have dinner at Sushi Tei at Bedok Point as the location was very convenient for us and all of us enjoyed Japanese food. Sushi Tei serves quality Japanese food at an average price. I ordered the soft shell crab sushi which costs around $13. The sushi were fresh and the soft shell crab were crispy.

Yoshinoya - Bedok Point Smile Sep 08, 2012

The beef bowl at Yoshinoya tastes really good and I decided to have it for dinner. I went to the Yoshinoya at Bedok Point to order the beef bowl take away which costs around $6. The standard of the food tasted the same despite taking away. I like the thinly sliced beef and the gravy on the rice. It never fails to disappoint me each time I eat the same. The service staff is friendly too.
