The space area for this outlet is not very big and at times, it was qute crowded. Service wise was quite okay, the staff was quite friendly but I always find that it takes a longer time for them to serve you when compared to other fast food joints. As usual, I had the combo set that comes with 2 pieces of chicken, fries and a drink. I changed the drink to ice lemon tea. As for the chicken, it was up to standard. Very crispy on the outside yet not too hard or dry in the inside. Fries were cripsy too and I like those small fried flour bits that comes with it.

Delicious hot and cold dessert Smile Mar 04, 2011

We happened to be in Kovan so we went to get some dessert for night snack. This stall sells a huge variety of hot and cold desserts. For me, I love the hot desserts. I had the "dao suan" which is make of yellow beans. The beans were well cooked and they are not hard, very soft to the bite with a thick gravy or sauce. Quite sweet but not overwhelming. Have it with the prices of "you tiao" that comes with it, it will create another type of taste in your mouth. Delicious. Do give it a try.

Beef Hor Fun (dry) Smile Mar 04, 2011   (Related Review)

Their zichar standard is there so I always patronise them if I wanted to have hor fun or zichar. This time round, I ordered the fried beef hor fun (dry). The beef hor fun was a bit oily but I can still accept it. The hor fun was well coated with the dark sauce and the texture was smooth. There was also a generous amount of beef slices that were tender and slightly chewly. The beef has been well marinated. The overall taste was slightly sweet with a hint of saltiness. Very well balanced. Delicious.

Chicken chop OK Mar 04, 2011
Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

This stall sells a variety of food items like Japanes bento set and western food grills and I ordered the chicken chop. The piece of chicken chop was quite well cooked and the texture of the meat was tender, not too dry. Perhaps this is due to the fact that meat from the chicken leg was used. However, the taste of the chicken chop is quite bland as they might not have it well marinated. The fries and coleslaw are okay. Portion wise is average. Service is quite good though.
