Chicken chop OK Mar 04, 2011
Categories : Singaporean | Coffeeshop

This stall sells a variety of food items like Japanes bento set and western food grills and I ordered the chicken chop. The piece of chicken chop was quite well cooked and the texture of the meat was tender, not too dry. Perhaps this is due to the fact that meat from the chicken leg was used. However, the taste of the chicken chop is quite bland as they might not have it well marinated. The fries and coleslaw are okay. Portion wise is average. Service is quite good though.

Average Muah Chee to me  OK Mar 04, 2011

Categories : Food Court

I decided to get a packet of muah chee from this stall after passing by it so many times. I bought the small packet which costs me only $2.. However, I find that their muah chee is just very ordinary. Although their muah chee is very soft and they are well coated with a layer of peanut and sugar mix, the size of each muah chee is actually very small. They are very chewly but to me it is the same as any other muah chee. Still a good choice if yu just want some snacks though.

Spending per head: Approximately $2(Other)

Fried fish slices noodles soup OK Mar 03, 2011

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Food Court | Chinese Soup

We were quit early and wanted to have something else besides the breakfast set from the drinks stall. So we waited till this stall is open and we bought the fried fish slices noodles soup. The soup is ordinary to me, nothing too special. The noodles is soft and well cooked. As for the fried fish slices, they are a bit soggy since they have been left inside the soup. However, they are still quite fresh but I can taste a slight mud taste. Better to have it dipped in soya sauce with chilli. That will be better.

Meehoon in the morning OK Mar 03, 2011   (Related Review)

The stall will be ready at about 7.40am for breakfast and they sell fried rice, meehoon etc. You can top it up with fried egg sunny side up, luncheon meat etc. Personally, I find the meehoon a bit dry. Taste wise is okay as it is seasoned with the soya sauce. After adding the top up of an egg and luncheon meat, it sets me back by about $2.50 if I remembered correctly.

Spending per head: Approximately $2.50(Breakfast)
