Four Seasons Durians ( Ang Mo Kio )

This shop specialised in anything durians from durian cakes to durian candies to durian puffs

The durian puffs are freshly make on the spot and i came at a time when the queue was quite long and i had waited about 25 mintues for my order but the wait is worth it as the puffs are filled with generous amount of durian puree at $1.80 per piece and for every five pieces ordered, we get a free piece and the packing comes in a cute box and you can request for them to pack 5 in a box and one in a paper bag if you want to eat it immediately like i did.

The puffs are freshly make on the spot so its still hot if you want to eat it immediately ( like myself as i cant wait to eat it with the durian smell lingering) but the durian puree is cold so it's very delicious.

Ichiban Sushi ( Toa Payoh )

Been passing by this outlet a couple of times on a weekend but didnt dine there until now as the queue can sometimes extend to outside where they have to leave open the glass door.

The sushi served here is very tasty as it's very fresh and of course the price is reasonable too ranging from $2.10 to $3.90 a plate.
Service here is good and fast too even though it's full house and we are 3rd in queue.

The salmon belly with mentaiko is slightly grilled and the handroll negitoro is freshly wrapped in crisspy seaweed and chopped tuna.

One of the best nasi lemak can be found in QiQi which is a local cafe selling besides nasi lemak, chee chong fun, mee siam, mee rebus, popiah, even it's drink like milk tea, barley etc are equally tasty.

At $3.90 for the nasi lemak, it has different types of set ingredients.Mine consists of a small fish, otak, fried fish fillet and all of them are very tasty.

All sets comes with ikan bilis and fried peanuts and the chilli sauce are fantastic.A must try for nasi lemak lovers are the rice is very tasty and full of pandan fragrant.

My family of 3 were seated at around 7.30pm and the last dish which is this horrible, tasteless lamb chop was served at 8.45pm on the 23rd Jan 2012 (Chinese New Year)

Certainly not worth the wait as the lamp chops were tastless, hard to bite, dressing very oily.

It came in 3 pieces of lamp chop but the meat were so tough and this is the worst lamp chop i had ever tasted.Served with peppermint dressing which is so oily and on top of that the waiting time of over an hour.

Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter from Swensen and for those of you who loves ice cream cakes, Swensen is highly recommended for its good quality.

Per kg at S40 and the pictured is a 2 kg chocolate.Very thick and rich and simply delicious and for a party of 10 paxs, we just finished the whole cake and the children were craving for more !

However, be careful to collect the cake nearer to the time you want to consume as the ice-cream cake can last a maximum of 4 hours before it melt away.

Chinese Mixed Rice ( Toa Payoh )

Also known as economical rice, this stall taste is not bad for most of its dishes, not too oily and pricing also reasonable.

Had the fried kangkong which were green and leafly and hardly find any rotten leaves.
Taste good.

Steamed fish with salted vegetables teochew style.very fresh and tasty.

Stir fried cuttlefish with ladies finger and dry chillies.Quite spicy but very tasty for those who like spices and spicy foods.

a bowl of porridge piping hot.

Overall, paid $5.70 and i think its reasonable and in an air-con foodcourt.

One of the best coffee can be found in Toa Payoh for people who loves coffee whether you like it strong or thin because this stall serve aromatic coffee at only 90 cent for a glass of coffee-o to S1.10 for take away with si.

Whenever i comes to Toa Payoh, i will come to this stall and it just amazes me that every time without fail the coffee are always piping hot maybe because they will run hot water to the cup or glass before serving.

Gong Cha _raffles City

Gong Cha ( City Hall )

Heard so much reviews about Gong Cha but didn't have the chance to try until today because each time i come across an outlet, the queues are always long and i'm always in a rush.

Came across Gong Cha at Raffles City today and surprised there was no queue.
Asked the server to introduce me a popular drink and she recommended green tea at $2.50.

Am disappointed that it is not delicious as i though and with the mixing of the milk, it just dont suit my taste bud.

The green tea is served with milk on top and little green tea sprinkle on the milk.

Glad that i did not queue for a disappointing drink.

Mr Prata Family Restaurant ( Tampines )
Besides selling the normal roti prata, they also sell many different types but i still stick to my favourite egg prata. The prata is very fragrant and crisp and the curry is one of the best, very nice blend of spices for the fish curry and spicy enough to go with the prata. For those who cant take too much spicy, you may request for the vegetable curry which my son did.

The mee goreng is also very nicely fried and fragrant and not too oily unlike most indian stall's mee goreng are very oily but i will still come here for their prata since i like the prata and fish sauce.

The teh tarik is okay and milo also normal, nothing fantastic to recommend.

This place is actually a coffee shop with only 4 stalls which are beverages stall, duck rice stall, fried cockles noddles stall and economical rice stall.

The duck rice stall sells very good duck meat with yam/white rice and also sells kuay chiap and duck noddles.

The cockles fried noodles stall sells one of the worst char kuay tio i had ever eaten, very oily, tasteless, not enough eggs but cockles fresh.

The plum juice sold at the coffee stall is very tasty.

Oyster ( Tampines )
This stall sells besides oyster ork lua, they also sell fried carrot cakes, fried hokkien mee, char kuay teow.

I love the oyster ork lua as it' fried crisppy to my liking and the oysters are always medium to big sizes and fresh and cooked just right texture.

Sometimes i would just order fried hokkien mee because it's also very tasty and i add $2 oyster to my noodles and at times i will also eat their fried carrot cakes with additional $2 oysters added.

However i do not like the fried char kway teow here as its quite dry and i dont find it tasteful.

Celebrated my mum's birthday over lunch at this outlet.

Ordered the aglio olio meal box at $18.90 which comes with a drink and a cake and i think it is value for money especially when my mum who is having her birthday enjoyed her meal.

I had the pear salad at $7.90 and 2 pumpkin soups at $5.90 each bowl.
The pear salad is disappointing as i don't really like the sauces and i think it's really nothinh special but the pumpkin soup is very tasty that i had 2 bowls.

Overall, spend $46 for 2 paxs and i think it's still value for money with the nice atmosphere
and services and the free toasted bread with olive oil that we can help ourselves bu toasting the breads.

Fish Soup - Siang Ho Heng ( Bedok )
When we first shifted to Bedok, from Mons - Fridays, we would either eat at this coffee shop or buy take away from this fish soup stall because they always serve fresh fish slices/fish heads and their soup are very tasty and my whole family never get tired even at times eating 7 days a week from this stall.

The fish head mee hoon soup is one of my favourite order from this stall as their fish head slices are big and meaty and the overall is very tasty as the mee hoon also absorbed the nice flavour of the soup.

This coffee stall is just next to a oyster ork lua and fried carrot cake as we ordered our dinner from them.

The ice milo sold here is one of the best i had tried in a hawker center. It is made with generous amount of milo which make the drink tastes the fullness of milo and the sweeten milk.

The milk tea is also very good as the tea leaves are strong enough to give the nice aroma and it tastes like a milk tea from a Hong Kong restaurant which is slightly on a lighter taste.

The service is good too as the man server was friendly and we usually dont get such friendly services in a hawker stall in Singapore

As the name implies,"heng heng",i ate their oyster egg ork lua and carrot cakes and was surprised to strike that night's 4D as well...

The ork lua here is one of the best i had tried and at $4 the portion was generous too.
The ork lua was fried to crispy and the oysters were medium big size and fresh.
The chilli sauce were very good too.

The carrot cakes at $3 is also a delicious and generous in portions.
The carrott cakes were fried without the usual black sauces and were fried crispy with generous amount of eggs.
