Ambience is great, music is laid back and chill, and the food is fantastic! Had the Truffle Fries which was probably one of the better few that you can find. Truffle oil was very generous and the fries were crispy and evenly salted.
The duck confit donburi also looked as good as it tasted. The duck leg skin was crispy and fragrant, and the duck meat was juicy and tender.
I found Babette to be very interesting with the French-Japanese food on the menu. A very refreshing new restaurant to check out if you're at the Lavender/Jln Besar stretch. Very easy to find since it's just opposite Chye Seng Huat Hardware.
Friendly staff. Nice chill decor.
