Koi at Angmokio Smile Feb 08, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

If you are at Ang Mo Kio right now and would like to have a little chat time with friends, like a chill out day, you can always come to this KOI shop. You might get prepare to wait from 5~10 minutes as there are plenty of customers queuing up.
For me, my favorite drink at KOI would be Grass Jelly MILK TEA with PEARL.
I LOVE their GRASS JELLY!
It's all in one big jelly piece and when you use the big straw to suck it. Its really fun and nice. When you taste the Jelly, you can feel the freshness and cooling of it. Together with the pearls and milk tea, they made a very tasty combination. I LOVE itsmile

BUBBLE TEA! GONG CHA! Smile Feb 05, 2012

One of my favourite drink after meal is always a cup of bubble tea. And Gong Cha is one of the milk tea brand that I like too. I like the way how they make those pearl so chewy and fun to eat. The milk tea is just nice to me for a 50% of sugar smile and medium size cup.
I definitely go for a chat with a cup of gong cha with me;))

So there are 2 main dishes we had ordered, one is chicken cordon bleu < filled with ham and cheese in middle> with fries and salad; the other is grilled proper chicken pepper sauce with butter rice and salad. There is a lot of pepper sauce on the chicken which I liked it a lot as I like its spicy and tasty way. When you eat it with the butter rice, its definitely a match!
The chicken filled with ham and cheese gave you a really good taste too! Its nice if you eat it with the French fries or you can order one more butter bow of rice alone for just $1!
Overall the food was awesome!!!!!!
And the drink we ordered call '' strawberry lime juice~~with soda'' gives you an unique fruity taste. It makes me feel refreshing after drinking it smile
You should try if you have not smile

My MUM and I often go here for FISH and CO as its near by our place. We always choose to eat the NEW YORK FISH because it has a cheesy layer in between! I love the fattening from the fish and normally its reasonable price!! You would have to carry a heavy stomach home just by finish that 1 set! Drooling!~

This dish is somehow taste similar to rice cake. Just that on top of the white colour part its filled with fried onions. And It taste the best when eat it with chillies sauces. Its a tradional food so some people when they first to eat it, the taste to them might be weird but when they are used to eat. I'm sure they will be back to try the second times:>
